My recent stay at Hoàng Anh Côn Đảo Hotel was a truly memorable experience, and for more reasons than just the comfortable bed and lovely pool. This island, Côn Đảo, carries a weight of history, and staying here felt like being close to that past while still enjoying a peaceful present.

The hotel itself was a welcome sight after a long journey. It's not overly fancy, but it has a charm to it. My room was clean, spacious enough, and had a balcony where I could sit and soak in the quiet atmosphere. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful, always ready with a smile and quick to assist with any questions. The pool area was a nice escape from the heat, and I spent a few relaxing afternoons there.

What really made my stay special, though, was the feeling of tranquility that permeated the hotel. Maybe it's the island itself, but there was a sense of calm and reflection here that I really appreciated. Waking up to the sounds of nature and being surrounded by such natural beauty was incredibly soothing for the soul.

However, being on Côn Đảo also brings with it a deep sense of the island's history as a former prison. While the hotel itself doesn't directly reflect this, the awareness of the past is always present. This created a bittersweet feeling for me. On one hand, I was enjoying the beauty and peace; on the other, I couldn't forget the suffering that once took place here. This wasn't the hotel's fault at all, but it definitely colored my overall experience of being on the island and staying at Hoàng Anh.

The location of the hotel was also pretty good. It wasn't right in the absolute center of town, which I actually preferred as it felt a bit more secluded, but it was still easy enough to get around by taxi or motorbike to explore the town and the historical sites.

Đây là chai nước miễn phí trong phòng, mn có uống thì lưu ý nhé mình cũng chẳng biết xanh xanh kia là gì còn chị dọn phòng bảo cái chai nó vậy đó ko phải rêu đâu Khách sạn khá mới, vị trí thuận tiện, nhìn chung khách sạn đều ổn trừ phần con người thì hơi bất ổn chút Định không review gì đâu nhưng đến ngày cuối thấy ko nói ko được Đại loại là lúc check in mình đặt 2 phòng đôi nhìn ra biển ở 1 đêm và 1 phòng ở tầng 1 ở 2 đêm (đoàn có người về trước - sau) Phòng view biển thì 506k/đêm, phòng tầng 1 ko view thì 389k/đêm, khi tới check in thì bạn mình sợ ko dám ở một mình nên muốn đổi 2 phòng thành 1 phòng 2 giường, ban đầu bạn lễ tân và chủ đều ko đồng ý và yêu cầu là up từ phòng 506k lên 2 giường còn phòng trệt book rồi nên để đó còn phí thì mình bù thêm. Sau khi nhận phòng xong thì chủ ks gọi mình bảo h chú đổi cho ko cần bù tiền, xong ông gọi cả 3 phòng xuống, tới nơi ổng bảo 2 phòng 506k gộp lại thành 1 phòng 2 giường và ko view biển chứ ko phải gộp 389k với 506k (bảo sao đổi free) Mình nói rõ từ đầu là gộp 389 và 506 xong ổng hỏi bạn lễ tân là chênh lệch bao nhiêu, bạn mới nói ổng 28k, nhưng ổng thu mình 100k, chúng mình ok ko mặc cả 1 đồng nào và hoan hỉ nhận phòng. Chiều hôm sau khi mình chờ xe ở dưới thấy chủ ks nói chuyện với 1 anh tài xế taxi đại ý là dân giờ ít tiền đi du lịch mặc cả từng đồng - không biết có ai mặc cả được với ổng rồi cho xin cánh tay đi ạ! Tóm lại mọi thứ đều ổn trừ con người...
