This hotel provides everything you could possibly want for your stay on Con Dao. The host does everything she can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible and she is wonderful to talk to! The entire facility, including the rooms, is exceptionally clean and well maintained. This is a newer building, with absolutely gorgeous architectural details throughout. The location couldn’t be better as it’s directly across from the beach and in the center of town. You are within walking distance of many restaurants, shops and services. The host will provide you with a motorbike rental at a very reasonable price upon check-in. A variety of beverages are available in the lobby and the front desk can provide you with information on places you should see while you’re on the island. WiFi was fast and reliable. The shower was wonderful! If you’re looking for the absolute best place to stay on Con Dao, look no further, because this is it! This is one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever stayed in and the view from the balcony is truly incredible. We are very much looking forward...

We had the pleasure of staying at the Nereus Hotel on Con Dao Island, Vietnam, in October 2024. The Hotel is new and beautifully decorated. Our room was a large size with a balcony and water view. What makes it so special is the owner and friendly staff. We were assisted with getting a snorkel and turtle release tour, as well as helping us find good restaurants close by. The ocean is across the street and had an incredible big sandy beach with calm waters, which made for easy swimming. Great location for walking into town and many restaurants close by. As well the tourist attractions (i.e. prison, Palace, Museum) were all within walking distance. We hope to return one day, as not only is the Nereus Hotel beautiful and reasonably priced, but Con Dao Island was one of our favourite places to visit...
