Unfortunately, our stay at Peach Valley Hotel was far from the glowing reviews we read beforehand. We booked two nights expecting comfort and quality, but were met with a series of issues that made the experience quite unpleasant.
Firstly, the soundproofing is ABYSMAL. We could hear every noise — from elevator dings to conversations in the hallway — but the worst was the constant screaming from children and shouting adults in the neighboring room. Despite calling reception at 10PM to ask for assistance, we were told the matter would be addressed “tomorrow,” and nothing was done. To make matters worse, I was woken up at 4AM by another guest’s phone alarm. That’s how poorly insulated the rooms are.
The bed was rock hard! If you jump on it, be prepared to risk a concussion. There’s also a window above the room door that lets in bright hallway light — another major barrier to sleep. While the bathroom was the one redeeming feature (the shower was excellent), it was overshadowed by a recurring sewage smell that would fill the room, even when we hadn’t used the bathroom.
To top it off, during checkout we shared an elevator with a man smoking a cigarette — which he continued to do inside the hotel lobby. The receptionist said nothing, reinforcing the sense that this hotel simply doesn’t care about guest comfort or basic standards.
Overall, Peach Valley may look charming on the surface, but the reality is chaotic, uncomfortable, and poorly managed. We wouldn’t stay again or recommend...
Read moreWorth to stay for Muslim travelers. Next door to one of famous Halal restaurant in Da Lat. Room is spacious sufficient space for praying. No AC but room is still well ventilated and cold (feels just like having an AC in room). Staff was friendly and helpful. If you arrive early morning after taking sleeper bus to Da Lat, they provide washroom to refresh. Wash face, brush teeth, change clothes and etc. One drawback probably you can hear within your room, if anyone walking or talking loudly at the corridor. Normal speaking you wouldn't here as loud, but usually families with kids, you will definitely hear. I think its because they use air ventilation to keep the room cool, so windows are usually left slightly open. I know from locals many Hotels in Da Lat does not us AC and mainly depend on the ventilation from the cold natural air to cool room. Nevertheless, a worth place to...
Read morePeach Valley Hotel is an excellent choice for our stay. From the moment we arrived, the friendly receptionist greeted us and assisted us with our luggage. Despite being just two women, they effortlessly carried most of our heavy luggage.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-ventilated, with a window. The restrooms are also clean and equipped with clean towels and bed sheets. Additionally, they generously provide free water, drinks, and tea.
Overall, our stay was fantastic. The hotel’s location is convenient, close to beautiful lake scenery and nearby cafes.
I want to extend a special shoutout to the receptionists. Their exceptional hospitality and polite demeanor made our experience truly memorable, despite the language barrier.
I highly recommend Peach Valley Hotel to anyone seeking a...
