Ha Giang Creekside Homestay and Tours — Hotel in Hà Giang

While the place is still under renovation (meant to be finished by 1st of Jan) I had a great stay, for a whole number of reasons. First and foremost the owner Mr Ang who went out of his way to help me out of a pickle (he ended up driving me around town for an hour to shop for a dirt cheap smartphone and get a suitable SIM package). He speaks great English and has very well founded knowledge of the area due to his part time occupation as a tour guide. Other reasons to recommend Creekside: comfy rooms, clean and nice-looking facilities. I'm sure it will be fantastic once the renewal works are finished. Last but not least the hostel seems to attract more seasoned travelers, not the typical backpacker...

Everything was perfect 😍🥰 Lan and her family are super nice. Very warm, welcoming, and fun family. ☺️ We had a super delicious dinner including drinks for 50k (meal combo for booking guests). Very healthy breakfast with fruits and veggies. They did our laundry, clothes smelled so good afterwards. Clean bathroom and shower with hot water. Very comfy beds, nice rooms. Lan and her family took us on a wonderful trip to a waterfall near the city. It was such a nice day. We really felt at home. We would definitely come back here if we ever return...

Staying at Ha Giang Creekside was a pleasure, with comfortable accommodations and motorbike rentals at a good price.
