We absolutely loved our stay here! The family running the place are wonderful — they spoiled our girls with treats and always greeted us with a warm, friendly smile. Both the man and woman were so welcoming, it really made us feel at home.

The location is fantastic, right near a mall where you can find anything you might need. We went there for all our essentials. There's also a bus stop just a short walk away that made getting into the Old Quarter super easy. We caught the bus everywhere we wanted with no trouble at all.

The daughter was very helpful with translating when she was around, and they also allowed us to store our luggage upstairs for a small fee while we went on our Ha Long Bay tour. The storage room was secure and well cared for, giving us great peace of mind.

One thing I have to mention — the rope they have running up the stairs is a lifesaver! The man even helped pull our bags up with it, and a few cheeky beers made the whole process even better (I definitely had more than a few!).

The only small downside was that the outside door to our room didn’t seal properly, so a bit of traffic noise came in. My family didn’t mind, but I’m a light sleeper, so I needed earplugs. Also, the mattress was on the hard side — but to be fair, I haven’t come across a soft mattress anywhere in Vietnam yet!

I went here after a hard-working journey from the Noibay airport. But the hostess said there wasn't my room I booked 1 months ago. And she couldn't speak English at all. At that moment, l perplexed what to do. By the Google translator, I said to her and complained about her breaking a deal. But she said "no problem" because there was not a paying beforehand.
