Halong Glory Legend Cruise — Hotel in Hạ Long City

This really was a fantastic cruise. The sights, food and service were all excellent. Everyone had a great time and the activities organised were all fun and helped build our awareness of the local customs and culture of the Halong Bay area. I was impressed with the quality of the government curated natural and social exhibits we got to see on the way. Cooking class, tai chi and happy hour were offered on the boat as well. Guests should be aware that the cruise is highly structured and not about lounging on the boat. You can do that if you want but be prepared to let the staff know. Also because Halong Bay is so busy the tour companies don't have the option of letting you lounge around the beach for hours. It was a nice boat and we really enjoyed the trip. The itinerary was well planned with the option to participate in the organised activities or just chill on your own and taking in the views. The staff were very friendly and the food was very good. The cooking class was fun whereas the squid fishing wasn’t well organised. The helpers didn’t seem interested at all to do this activity leaving the participants on their own, which was a shame as we really wanted to try it. The room was nice although a bit old. It was difficult to choose which trip to take as there were so many, but I am glad we took this one. The staff were great, the rooms were nice and clean. The food was also amazing!

Just be aware that Ha Long bay is busy and not the cleanest place. You will see rubbish in the water and there are just way too many boats. Its sad but yeah, hopefully it will change once they realise people wont come back anymore if the place looks like a rubbish dump.
