Nam Phong Hotel - Cat Ba Island — Hotel in Hải Phòng

I highly recommend staying at Nam Phong Hotel here on Cat Ba Island. The building is modern, clean, and quiet. If you want night life and activities, this hotel is conveniently located next to The Secret Garden hostel so you can go next door for fun and then back to your hotel for peace and quiet. This hotel is also located across from Cat Ba Climbing, so it's very convenient if you are doing any excursions with them. The hotel owner is very sweet and accommodated our needs during our stay. She would make us breakfast which was simple and delicious. The lemon tea she makes is also fantastic! Since it was the off season it wasn't too busy, and she invited us to make spring rolls and have dinner with her family on our last night. Not only was this a great stay, but an unforgettable experience. Thank you for having us; we hope to come back to Cat Ba Island...

I was so impressed that I decided to leave a review! The hotel has recently opened, so everything is in excellent condition. The owner Hoai is a very nice girl. She helped organize excursions and was always ready to answer my questions. Her English is not fluent, but she tries :) The prices are great! And breakfasts are included! And also delicious banh mi! So next time, if I come to Cat Ba, I will try to stay here. Of course, if there are available rooms :)

My stay was wonderful. I came without a reservation and was given a very good price. The lobby and rooms are very modern and beautiful. Everything is sparkling clean. Hoai was so kind and helpful and even got me a banh mi for breakfast one morning when she knew I was in a rush to leave for a tour.
