HT Village Villa — Hotel in Hội An

What made our stay so great was the staff, they are all super friendly and extremely helpful. You’re not just another guest, they like to have a chat with you and to get to know you. My boyfriend and I stayed here for a full week and we had the feeling we were part of a new family. I got pretty sick and had to stay in the room for a day or 2 after visiting the hospital, every time I got asked if I was feeling better and Will the owner made a great tea for me, I really appreciated that. ||The room we had was very clean and spacious, with a little balcony facing the swimming pool, which was also very nice. It was only quiet noisy in the room. We couldn’t reset the code for the safe box but this was quickly fixed. ||The location is indeed a bit away from the old center but with the free bicycles they provide, you can get there with 10 min. Basically this hotel has everything you need! Comfortable rooms, a nice swimming pool, free bikes, a restaurant, breakfast included, massage possibilities, tour booking and they can even help you book a flight if needed. The only tips I can think of is, maybe add signs/notes to the breakfast buffet, explaining what it is. And the rooms smell pretty moldy. When we did mention the moldy smell coming from the AC it got cleaned within an hour though I don’t think that was the only source. ||Overall, I miss this place already and we would definitely come back and highly recommend to everyone! Very nice hostel/hotel. Unfortunately this place misses out on 5 stars for me. Very clean, friendly staff, good location, swimming pool, comfortable beds, able to rent motorbikes or bicycles, internet, air conditioning.

The reason it gets 4 stars is the fact there are no storage lockers to keep your stuff safe, you have to trust your roommates not to steal your stuff, the pool is very small and only has 5 beds, 3 of which are in the sun but are also in the pool, the doors on the bathroom are frosted glass but you could see someone sitting on the toilet, the lights for the beds were a complete shambles, the light for my bed which was on the right, the switch was in the middle bed...
