Hotel Eden Go Vap — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

The hotel is in a good location within the city. Walking distance of restaurants, coffee bars and mini-markets close by. The breakfast was good. Room was clean and comfortable. On our first night in the city we arrived early evening at hotel after a day travelling and visiting sites in city. We ate on the roof top restaurant by the small pool, food was good. We didn't get chance to go back to the restaurant or use the pool as they closed off the roof area due to a private party from about 15.00 Hours. In effect this limited paying guests using the facilitates within the hotel. Also the noise/music from the party on the roof could be heard very loudly and clearly in our rooms several floors below. We enquired at the desk how long it would be this loud till and was told it was an end of year party and would be until about until about 22.30. I know other guests also contacted the reception desk about the noise. I certainly don't object to private parties in a hotel but not at the expense of guests who pay to use the facilitates the hotel advertises or at the expense of...

Stayed here for 2 days. Location is great and close to museums and attractions. So, we were able to save on taxi rides as well because it was central. The hotel itself wasn't bad. I want to say that room was okay and we had a great view. Breakfast is great. They service awesome beef pho! Has a mixture of western and vietnamese cuisine. |They had girls that played the vietnamese harp once during breakfast. |The staff is not very open if you're inquiring about local area and told us to go online. So, make sure you get your information before your stay. They have two computers downstairs in the lobby. |Downside is after every shower the bathroom would get flooded with water. We discovered it was because the shower curtain was too short. It became very annoying, especially if the drain doesn't work very well. We had to use our towels to soak up the water each time. Stayed at the Eden Star when we visited Hi Chi Minh and had a great time. The roof top pool was a favourite location and meals and cocktails were really good and well priced. Enjoyed the walks to the parks, Bin Tan Markets and restaurants nearby. Found the location to be central and easy to access. Staff are great and the breakfasts are terrific, Pho for me!
