Misaki Hotel — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

We landed at 9:50PM, and given an hour and a half of documentation and luggage, we assumed we'd be out of the airport no later than 12:00AM. Because the hotel will pick us up for "free" and the location of the hotel is so close to the airport, we booked for 1 night. Until we were on the flight from Japan to Vietnam, we were informed that the "free" shuttle service stopped at 10:00PM, after 10 will be extra charge; which we were fine with. When we arrived, we were expecting someone with a sign "Hotel Misaki Pick-up" waiting for us at the arrival terminal. The reality was, we have to texted, called, and waited for someone from the hotel. We waited for nearly 45 minutes for that someone to come by taxi to pick us up. He then proceeded with grabbing another taxi and takes us back to the hotel. On the way back, the hotel guy was not aware of the construction that blocks the entrance to the hotel. When we arrived, the hotel guy proceeded with the check-in process; then apologized again for the wait yet emphasized that the hotel offered a free airport shuttle as courtesy to the guests. I was heated by then and responded with "The service was free for other guests, but I had to pay for it".||We woke up the next morning with ants marching over the bed sheet, pillows; some were crushed on the bed sheet cover by our weights. Because we only stayed for 1 night, we did not throw the tourist tantrum.||What I found odd was - they offered a free buffet breakfast, however there’s a charge for coffee. Yet they have instant coffee in the room.||Overall - the route to this hotel is inconvenient even though it's close to the airport. The "free airport shuttle" advertisement is misleading, because it's closed at 10:00PM. The room is clean, yet it's not ants free. I do not recommend this...

Spent 1 night here prior to our flight. The rooms themselves are beautifully and tastefully decorated and have a very peaceful feel . The gentleman at the front desk was very accommodating to allow us an early check in. However when I arrived at the room I was disgusted to find the toilet full of urine, both in the bowl and on the seat. I was given a new room straight away but it made me question the cleanliness of the hotel. The new room still had toothpaste splashed over the mirror, I think the whole place needs a really good deep clean. Located 5 mins drive from the airport, however they do not provide any shuttle and it would very difficult to walk, charges between 70 -150 Vietnamese dong in a grab/taxi. Overall good choice if you want to be close to the airport and has the potential to be a fantastic hotel but unfortunately...
