Honestly, we had a decent experience initially. However, the check out process was unpleasant. We were not able to check out because we were told our room was missing a towel. They asked us if we accidentally took the towel but we did not. We went back to the room to do a final sweep to find the “missing towel”; however, we did not take any towels once again. The room service keeper continued to ask us if we accidentally took it to the beach or if we had more people in our family staying with us when it was only us two.
We’re from the US; therefore, the standards of hotels here are different from the US. We never had hotels count how many towels were in the room. We would never think to even count the amount of towels we had initially in the room.
If we knew we had to count the towels then we would’ve did that initially because they will fine you for not having the initial amount. We stayed for multiple days so each time room service cleaned the room we didn’t think to see how many towels were replaced or not replaced. Some of the towels we had that we USED were not even replaced but instead they were REFOLDED. We initially did not want to complain about refolding towels issue because it was minor until they kept pushing us to finding ONE TOWEL when we did NOT take a single towel with us. It could’ve been a situation where the amount towels weren’t replaced properly because we had two amount of large and medium towels and 3 small towels. We didn’t used the ones refolded that were already used and the keeper even saw it. They had nothing to say.
Customer service should be prioritized. The room service keeper even stated she would check the cameras to see if we took the towel. We told them to go ahead and check. If your “customer service” is to verbally threaten your customers to gain a towel we don’t have shoes what mannerism you all have. We wont be coming back.
US and other outside country travelers — lesson is to count your towels before you...
Read moreThis hotel should be avoided at all costs. There is truly nothing that went well during our stay. The reception staff are unfriendly and do not speak English, which makes basic communication very frustrating. Laundry is charged per item, which is unreasonable and outdated. The hotel guests are extremely loud – it’s impossible to sleep. Music blasts from the beach until late at night, and just when you’re finally about to rest, housekeeping wakes you up at 8 a.m., ringing the doorbell and insisting on entering, even though the “Do Not Disturb” sign is clearly on the door. We barely slept, and they still wanted to clean the room at 8 a.m.!
The windows are terrible – you can hear everything, and I mean everything. The sound isolation is non-existent. It honestly felt like sleeping outside. The cleanliness is a joke. The windows are filthy and clearly haven’t been cleaned in ages. We found hair from previous guests, and the mold in the bathroom is absolutely disgusting – just look inside the curtain rail in the shower. The curtains by the balcony are covered in stains. And as if that wasn’t enough, the hotel corridors are so noisy it feels like being in a zoo – people shouting at all hours, no control, no respect for silence.
What’s even more disturbing is that they didn’t stop harassing us to delete our review. They knocked on our door in the evening, bringing a plate of fruit and asking us to erase our feedback. That’s completely inappropriate and unprofessional.
I truly don’t understand how a hotel can be this dirty and chaotic. This was one of the worst hotel experiences...
