Hang Múa Lucky House — Hotel in Ninh Bình Province

I made my booking at this place through the Agoda app and accidentally chose the wrong dates. However, the host was super welcoming and hospitable that she arranged my room immediately soon after I arrived and explained my mistake. The room itself was bright, spacious and clean. The only downside of the room was the toilet not because it’s dirty or something ( it was actually very clean), just because the bum gun that you use to clean yourself is actually very powerful, so it might give you a toilet suprise :)) if you press it too hard. In my opnion, the room was much better than a regular hotel room regarding what I paid for it. It’s a family run business so can’t expect the service to be as perfect as a professional hotel, but the host and her family are extremely supportive in making sure you have the best experience at their establishment in terms of serving food and beverage, guiding you at places to visit and best ways to travel around. The location was supper awesome as it locates very close to the Hang Mua viewpoint, and in between Trang An and Tam Coc. Very central and convenient to move around. You can also rent bikes or motorcycles here for a reasonable, if not cheap price. If you’re a foreigner, be patient in communicating with the host as her mother language is Vietnamese although she will try her best to communicate to you in English or other languages. Hang Mua Lucky House was a fantastic place to stay in Ninh Binh. It’s conveniently located—just a 13-minute ride from Ninh Binh Train Station, 3 minutes from Hang Mua Caves and Lying Dragon Mountain, and 10 minutes from the Trang An boat ride.

The staff was incredibly friendly and always helpful, even using Google Translate for smooth communication. The hotel serves both breakfast and dinner, and you can ask for coffee anytime since there’s a restaurant on the ground floor. The entire place was very clean, and the Wi-Fi worked well on every floor.

Stayed here for 5 nights. We arrived at around 4 am and the owner let us, which was very nice after a long 16 hour travel. The owners family was very nice and let us rent a motorbike. The beds were comfy. There is a nice spot on the roof as well but we couldn't find the advertised pool. The bathtub seemed to leak but I guess bathrooms are designed this way around here.
