La Mai Tam Coc Homestay — Hotel in Ninh Bình Province

We recently had the pleasure of spending four unforgettable nights at a homestay in Tam Coc, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest hospitality that immediately made us feel at home.

The family running the homestay went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and always available to help us with anything we needed. One highlight was when they helped us arrange a seamless bus trip to our next destination, saving us the stress of organizing transportation ourselves. And it was even cheaper as 12GO.

Every morning, we were treated to a delightful breakfast that was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. The variety and quality of the food were impressive, and it was a fantastic way to start our days exploring the stunning surroundings of Tam Coc.

The cleanliness of the rooms was outstanding. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared to ensure maximum comfort. We genuinely felt relaxed and refreshed every time we returned to our room after a day of adventures.

The level of service was exceptional. Every interaction with the family was met with genuine care and professionalism. Whether it was advice on local attractions, help with bookings, or just a friendly chat, they made us feel like part of the family.

The room and bathroom were big and very clean. Hot water only lasted 3-5 minutes but enough time to shower and heated up again pretty quickly so it was a non issue. Our room was upgraded to one with a view of the mountains which was nice. Breakfast was included and there was something different everyday. The food was always fresh and delicious and big portions. They even made a point to remember that my partner didn't like coriander and left it out the next time. The family running the homestay were beautiful they were so kind and friendly and happy to help with anything they could. We rented a scooter through them, they also have bicycles to rent. They offer laundry services and helped us book transport to our next destination. Best stay we've had on this trip, everything was really easy and I would definitely recommend. The host was super lovely and helped us organize a scooter, laundry, and even our bus ticket to the next destination. The homestay itself was awesome—really nice amenities, super clean, and the room was massive. Breakfast was included, and I’m not usually one to eat breakfast at accommodations, but I couldn’t pass it up—it was that good! We originally planned to stay for 4 nights but ended up extending to 5. While writing this review, I saw they also offer lunch and dinner, and I’m upset I didn’t see that review earlier. I was literally saying to my partner they should open a little restaurant because the food was that good. I couldn’t recommend this...
