Nam Nhung Tam Cốc homestay — Hotel in Ninh Bình Province

The loveliest family I have ever come across. We stayed with them for three nights and had the best stay ever. The rooms are the cleanest I’ve ever seen and the beds are the comfiest. They made us feel welcome from the moment we set foot inside - even my friend who had already booked elsewhere. Very attentive hosts, offering very reasonably priced bus tickets, bikes and dinner. They are very responsive over text too.

Considering they don’t speak much English, and have to use google translate to communicate with us, they are incredibly patient and still so kind. We had to return to Tam Coc to take the bus to Phong Nha. They booked these tickets for us for a very reasonable price - we were quoted much higher whilst we were in Cat Ba. They even offered to keep our bags there whilst we waited for the next bus to Phong Nha.

I had been vomiting the night before, and throughout the whole day that we arrived again in Tam Coc. I had another 8 hour journey ahead, the same day. Once I got there, they looked after me as if I was their daughter for the following four hours. I cannot recommend this...

We had an amazing three-day stay at this homestay, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by the host and their family. The room was spotless, thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, and the attention to cleanliness was clear.

A special highlight was the kindness and care from the family running the homestay. My friend fell ill during our stay, and the owner went out of their way to ensure he was comfortable, checking in regularly and even offering helpful remedies.

Breakfast was also a delight. We got to choose what we wanted each day, and everything was fresh and delicious. The homestay’s location is perfect—right in the heart of Tam Coc, yet in a peaceful area that allowed us to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Overall, we had a wonderful time and couldn’t recommend this homestay enough! It’s a fantastic place with amazing hosts, and we’d love to come...

Spacious and cool room Location There is a fridge in the room, as well as other necessities Conveniently enough power outlets, one on each side of the bed. Breakfast is included in the price, but is very basic Staff is always around (you probably will have to use translating app) A cute and small dog always greets you cheerfully ♥️ Possibility to rent a bicycle or scooter. Or even order a masseuse to your room. There is also a fan in the room so you dont have to use AC.

Privacy is poor since the only windows is located towards the outdoor area. They don't accept cards (Visa, Mastercard) as a payment method, even though many booking sites say so. The air conditioning cannot be adjusted practically at all. It is either on or off, there’s no drying mode or anything else and the temperature cannot be adjusted.
