Read moreWe stayed with Mai for two nights. Unfortunately, on the first night, other guests were having a pool party in the middle of the night, making it impossible to sleep. We were asked what time we wanted breakfast, and unfortunately, we waited an hour for breakfast even though it had been agreed upon. That day, we booked a scooter with her for the day. The tank was so empty that we had to push the last few meters on the way back, even though we hadn't traveled far. We had problems booking a bus, so we asked Mai if she could book us something since she offers this. Unfortunately, she ripped us off. We paid the highest price, even though the bus was in the cheapest price category, and it was an absolutely horrible ride. She charged a high commission for this booking. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend Mai's homestay, and I would especially not book any additional services...
Read moreWe had a lovely getaway in Ninh Binh and this homestay was a big part of it. Our room was clean, airy and fully equipped. The host was always attentive and friendly, especially helpful for giving us advice on how to adjust our itinerary (both in the booking process and during our trip). Breakfast was good and plenty. Highlight was the cutest and friendliest furry friends always there to greet you whenever you come back to the homestay. 10/10 overall...
