Perfect Little Gem. one can Feel the effort of making it a Special stay. Very clean. Staff was very friendly and worked long hours.Breakfast Great with Homemade yoghurt and Jams. Everything Is Quite asthetically presented. Free bikes to Rent. The Cousin manages local as international Food on high Level. But For Some reason Food Never arrives at the Same Time as you ordered. Maybe they don‘t have Heating lamps here. In Europe that Is a Nogo as to be polite you wait for everyone on the table to have there food and then start eating together...not possible in Vietnam.
The water Is clear and warm. Just Great. i noticed However they don’t See what they Have which is the perfect Sound : the quietness, the waves, the Wind, the silenece. This Is Why we Fly around the globe on an Remote Island and Beach to Hear exactly that. . Silence and Peace. We Flee Concrete Dense Cities to Listen to Therapeutic stillness and Waves Breaking... and Then bam High Beat high volume Bass hip Hop Music?!?why? In the middle of the day.Its absurd. Its Not attractive. Cheap clothing Stores in western world use that to attract teenagers. nothing suitable for the average westerner coming to the resort. In fact on the beach I don’t want to hear no bass apart from that of the ocean. For Vietnamese this seems boring and they seemingly enjoy humming sounds at deafening volume. For us it’s brutal. The Perfect Sound ripped apart with trash club music most don’t listen to even at home. We don’t really drink more Alkohol or have more fun if this comes down to positive intentions.. Well I managed to find a place at the outer rim of the resort to hear nothing and enjoy the perfect scenery. The Clients are families, couples above thirty ... no one listens to high beat music. It’s stress. And this is not Ibiza or a full moon party in Thailand... Another side note I wd maybe recommend a massage bed placed in one of the pavilions close to the beach whilst you are in nature listening to waves..(we don’t get that in Europe).
In the north of Vietnam (Hanoi, Ninh bin ) we were given questionnaires after every Service we used. In Phu Quoc Never got one. This might be beneficial for own improvement. Get to know your customers.
By the way if your staff sits there reading English lesson books and trying to improve its English that wd be greatly looked upon.
We enjoyed our...
Read moreThis place was a piece of heaven for three days R&R. The weather was perfect and the water was calm and clear. We were looking for somewhere to stay and not do much so we wanted to stay at the resort the whole time and not get out and about. So, I have nothing but praise for this resort as it kept me happy without the need to leave. Here are some highlights:|Beach front bungalow - if your budget allows please get the beachfront accommodation. Nothing beats having just a little stretch of sand between you and the water.|The happy hour cocktails - amazing and well made. I wish happy hour would start earlier at 5pm instead of 6. |The pool - you've got the sea but you also have this amazing pool. It is big, it has a little slide for littlies, they have inflatable things for kids and big kids to float around on, also it is sheltered from sea breezes so is comfortable even when the beach front is a bit windy (which isn't always).|The beach - I'm not a sea person Nd generally hate beaches. So this is not a beach for surfers and beachy people. This is a beach for people who just want to be able to paddle around and wallow in the shallows without getting slammed by waves.|Things to do - they have kayaks and a pedal (remember them!) just lying around for anyone to use. Life jackets are available if going out deeper. I paddled around near shore on both and loved it. They also have snorkelling gear too. I hear they have bikes too but that was all a bit too much work for me. My husband and son went out for a ride and enjoyed it.|Food - they had enough good food on offer to keep me happy for a few days. There was a wide variety and the food was well prepared.|The staff - perhaps that should have been the first plus. They were all so lovely and helpful. The tables out by the beach have little buzzers to "summon" someone to come wait on you. I felt so bad making them come scurrying out over the sand to take my order but they always came quickly and were so helpful. ||I researched this a fair bit before choosing this resort so I hope this helps someone else like me. Value for money is absolutely without doubt. |The island of Phu Quoc doesn't really impress me (not that I actually got out and looked at it properly) but this place definitely impressed and I woukd come back just to stay...
Read moreThere are around a dozen beach-front hammocks at this resort. Splurge and stay in a beachfront bungalow. It's not that expensive comparatively. The pool is also clean and nice.||||Pros: Restaurant food is good. Some of the non-alcoholic drinks are off the charts great. Good groundskeeping crew. Hammocks are quite comfortable and most are under shade. The WiFi from your beachfront bungalow reaches to the hammocks. So, you can stream the World Cup or whatever you like while you relax in the hammock. I'm not saying you should come to this wonderful resort and just watch TV, but watching sports laying in a comfortable hammock on a wonderful beach was a new experience for me.||||The beach in front of the resort is kept clean. There are almost no waves to speak of on normal days. Unless you are there during rainy season, the water is quite clear. You can see fish even in the shallow areas near the beach. We brought our snorkels and snorkeled right from the beach. Do watch out for jellyfish, however.||||Service is very friendly. Take the hotel car to/from the airport. It's cheaper and easier than a taxi or Grab.||||Cons: Only fours 8 ounce bottles of water are provided a day, which is not enough. It was unclear to us if the more could be purchased at the restaurant. We rode one of the free bicycles a short distance and purchased water at a mini-mart (note: have cash; many/most places do not accept credit cards). There is an ATM about 10-15 minutes by bicycle in town.||||The bedframes here will kill your shins. Mark my word! There are also a couple stray dogs on the beach. They aren't dangerous (some quite friendly actually), but I just mention it for families with small children. Also, you may need to ask for a fan on top of the A/C if you are a typical American who likes the room cool at night like me.||||Overall, we loved the experience at the resort and would certainly return. It's a much better experience than staying on one of the mega-resorts on Phu Quoc. Much more intimate, relaxed environment. Highly...
