Read moreStaying at M Village was a very special night for me. This review is both objective and constructive, highlighting a very nice resort. I arrived at around 7:00 p.m. to check in and waited to park my car, but maybe the staff forgot about the customers. Because no one guide me where i can park my car. Upon entering the check-in area, I read the name of the person who booked the room, but the staff requested the booking code and only when I have the booking code -- I can check in. Actually this is the low season. it's not necessary if the resort isn't operating at 100% capacity. The employee requested to borrow the card to verify and check. What are the implications of giving my complete identification documents? The staff took me back to the room and opened the door, but he didn't feel the horrible musty smell. At a resort with high costs, I felt extremely surprised. The employee left without feeling any emotions. I didn't stop there, I found the hair of a former guest on the bed. Cleaning the head of the bed is the most important task, but it's filled with dust and dirt. The walls are in a terrible state of peeling. The staff explained that it was affected due to weather reasons. If you are affected, it is important to find a solution to handle it before serving customers. The staff informed me that they had made a new room with a higher value for me to move out of and that was the best way to handle it. As for the late time, it doesn't make sense to me. I have declined requests that were not accompanied by hospitality. I continued on to the restaurant without stopping there. Before I arrived, I carefully reviewed the menu to find the best choice for my dinner. Three menus were sent to me by the staff, but they did not provide any additional information. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was told that the menu was outdated, and the staff sent it by mistake, which was not served. Continue to ask questions at restaurants, such as: Do you have snacks that can be used with cocktails? The staff stated without hesitation that NO. Moreover, I ordered three dishes (fried noodles, shaking beef and fried spring rolls), but I was only given a single dipping sauce (fish sauce). The short experience I had at the hotel left me feeling really surprised. I am certain that I will never return to this place. I am grateful for your assistance in checking out late until 14:00 without any fees. If you want to prevent customers from leaving the M village brand, I suggest revamping the training plan for your staff and...
A Rocky Start, but Stellar Aftercare M Village is a beautiful resort, but my experience started as a nightmare. I got a severe bacterial infection and had to be hospitalized, and the reception staff’s initial handling of the situation was shocking and deeply unprofessional. They gave incorrect hospital information, didn’t help with a taxi or transportation, and showed little empathy during a medical emergency. It was humiliating and painful.
However, after my return from the hospital, the management truly turned things around. They went out of their way to fix the situation and provided exceptional aftercare: • They gave me the same room for three additional nights without any hassle. • Staff brought me tea, congee, and other comfort items, showing genuine care. • Everyone—from reception to room service—was incredibly kind, and the Vietnamese dishes I ordered were absolutely delicious!
This experience taught me how important it is for client service to address mistakes. While the initial situation was handled poorly, their sincere effort to make amends completely changed my perspective. Mistakes happen, but taking responsibility and showing care can create incredible loyalty from customers.
Tips for the Resort: There’s still room for improvement in training reception staff for emergencies. Basic protocols (like having emergency contacts and accurate hospital info) would prevent future issues like mine.
I’m leaving with mixed feelings—initial humiliation but deep gratitude for the care I received later. If management builds on this experience, M Village could truly...
Read moreWe stayed at M Village Hotel for 5 nights over my girlfriend’s birthday, and the whole experience was nothing short of amazing. From start to finish, the hotel and all of its staff went above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent time.
The hotel offers a free joint airport transfer, or a private one for a small fee, which was very convenient to have arranged. The property itself is beautiful: the buildings, rooms, pools, and dining areas were all spotlessly clean, tidy, and tastefully decorated. Our room was spacious, serviced daily, and always perfectly maintained.
Breakfast each morning was lovely, with a wide selection of hot and cold options – meats, fruit, salad, pastries, and fresh juices.
A real highlight was the birthday surprise I had arranged in advance. The staff did an incredible job with the decorations – happy birthday balloons, a cake, petals, swan towels, and more – it was truly amazing and made the celebration unforgettable.
Every member of staff we interacted with was so kind, welcoming, and helpful, even assisting us with booking experiences and offering recommendations. I unfortunately didn’t catch any of their names, but we are so grateful to them all.
Overall, M Village Hotel exceeded all expectations and gave us such a special stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Phu Quoc – we can’t wait...
