It started out good. We ordered two sandwiches, two coffees, a smoothie and a yogurt. Within the first ~10 minutes we received the sandwiches, which were decent. Then, after about 20 minutes more, we asked if at least the coffees were coming. The waiter said yes, but that the food might take a little while. We said that's alright. During this time about 5 different tables had come in after us and been given their coffees with all the food, and even had paid and left. 40 minutes had passed and we still didn't receive anything. We asked again and the waiter didn't even know what we were talking about. He showed us the order and it had everything written.. and he asked what we received. I said only the sandwiches, and asked how much longer it would be until the coffee came. He said we would have to wait another 20 minutes, without offering us a discount, or at least to rush the order. Coffee only takes a couple of minutes, and since we saw that they were serving the other customers who has arrived after us first, we decided to cancel. I don't know if they were discriminating (my boyfriend has a lot of tattoos and is darker skinned) or if it was just really bad communication between the staff, but nonetheless, they should have offered us some kind of apology. Really disappointed and honestly sad because it was my last day on the island and I wasted nearly two hours waiting on things I never received without any apology...
Read moreMost importantly, the food is very very good. A creative blend of fresh ingredients and very attractively presented dishes made for a great relaxed dining experience. Everything about this cafe is cute. Very photogenic from the entry right through to the toilet. And it's very clear from the quality of the meals themselves that, in all this cuteness, the raison d'etre of a cafe meal hasn't been forgotten. The eye for detail in the flavour combination of the dishes and their presentation clearly marks this cafe out as a gem of a place. Topping off all the cuteness is puppies playing... what more can you ask for. We visited during an area power outage so a couple meal choices and smoothies weren't available, which makes for an ideal excuse to go back again very soon. If you're visiting Phu Quoc and you don't stop in Nora's Cafe you're missing out on a delightful addition to the culinary scene...
Read moreA Hidden-gem free from traffic. I've not a person that take a lot of photos but i should have done it. Because I've had ice-coffee, smoothies, cheese omelet, bowls both in-house and take away. And the effort they put into making the food is great. It taste Very good and it's presented very nicely. I think the price is fair for the work that has been put into it. And also its organic and healthy food. I couldn't get that price in a western country. it would be double or tripled the price.
About the place: The atmosphere is so relaxing that you get the feeling of tranquility when you are there. Then staff is trying their best to communicate but as a big precent of the populations many don't speak English. 'A' for their effort. And they have a beautiful lovely cat when he's around.
Highly recommended to try...
