Bo Guest House — Hotel in Phan Thiết City

Left our accommodation booking for one night in Mui Ne to pretty much the last minute and so got stuck with this crappy accommodation.||Why do I say that it is crappy? The room is comparatively spacious compared to standard hotel rooms in the city, and the AC works pretty well, BUT this guesthouse does not even provide liquid soap and shampoo.||In terms of toiletries, expect only 1 soap bar (no liquid soap!), and 2 toothbrushes (no toothpaste!). Yes, there is NO shampoo, and NO towels.||For the record, I believe that they do provide bath towels, but when we checked in, there was none in the room, and we could not get hold of the owner or any other relevant personnel to help us with this issue till the next day. I tried knocking in their door, gesturing futilely to their neighbours, and also contacting them via the app through which I booked my stay, all to no avail.||Also, we felt needlessly harassed when checking in; the owner kept smiling at us and trying to sell us tour packages and wouldn't leave (not even when we told him thanks and that we will consider and get back to him) until we pointedly ignored him and went on with doing our own stuff.||Last but not least, the owner takes your passports, the actual passports, and only returns it to you when you check out. This is something that was not made clear to us when he took our passports; he just took them and didn't say anything about NOT just making photocopies and NOT returning it to us...

We were a little confused to start with. As we got out of our taxi a man approached us with a Bo guest house business card and asked if we were booked in there which we said yes. He told us to follow him but took us to a guest house over the road. We asked why and he said they were ran by the same family and we would be put up in the other building. This guest house was actually called Thanh Tuc. After a little investigating turns out this was correct information and they were ran by the same people (we couldn't help but think it was someone else trying to poach away customers). The owner's are very lovely and helpful with onward travel. We were also able to rent a moped for the day too. The beach is close by but you do have to walk a little way to try and find a cut through as most of hotels along the street have...

Жили в нем в январе 2016г. когда он еще назывался "247C/A Guest House", бронировали это жилье - предварительно на Букинге. Отзывы: умеренная цена на проживание на то время (хотя это сомнительный плюс - можно на месте найти за такие же деньги и поприличнее но мы бронировали на Букине по интернету + нам хозяин обеспечил ночной трансфер из Хошимина за доп.оплату), рядом остановка автобусов и автобусное бюро (мы на них сами ездили в Далат), недорогие забегаловки бо-ке, открывающееся с раннего утра кафе "У Пина", рядом экскурсионный киоск (с недешевыми ценами - проще самим съездить), хозяин поможет с арендой байков. грязные унитазы, раковина и зеркала, дверь в санузел не закрывается и я порезался об покореженную мераллическую часть неработающей защелки, открывается дверь в с/узел тоже только на половину - дальше упирается в перекошенный пол, нет мыла (и не дали), столик в номере - редкостное кульгавое убожество, которым невозможно пользоваться - падает, нет ни шкафчика ни вешалок но полочек - все приходилось хранить в сумках под ногами или раскладывать на кровати, тапочек нет, полотенце - изначально не было, после нескольких напоминаний - выдали отвратительно постиранные вместе с огрызком туал.бумаги, в с/у нет даже полочки чтобы поставить зубную щетку и шампунь, душ с порванным шлангом, муравьи - полноправные хозяева в номере, нет нормального рядом пляжа - нужно ходить вдольберега несколько сотен метров, уборки нет, полотенца не меняют, мусорку в комнате не освобождают, апофеоз - убили таракана в туалете, прямо во время приема душа! На все наши замечания хозяин только кивал головой и на плохом английском убеждал что все сделает, однако за неделю проживания ничего...
