The good location of the EVA Hut Mui Ne Homestay, several good reviews and the appealing pictures in the ad initially convinced me to book. Unfortunately, the expectations were met only to a very limited extent. The sea view was blocked by a multitude of massive concrete blocks; The beach was barely visible. During my stay there was dredging going on in the middle of the night. Furthermore, the kitchen accessible to guests was unfortunately very dirty. Fridge and freezer obviously haven't been cleaned in a while. Furthermore, the scooter rental spoke to me as part of the booking process. Unfortunately, it was difficult to get in touch, since the responsible operators of the homestay were usually not on site and it was very difficult to reach them by phone. The employed staff were mostly unable to answer simple questions; With questions one had often the feeling to disturb the staff. In many cases, people walked through the homestay who were neither guests nor staff. All in all, the accommodation is nicely furnished and the location is OK. I left before my reservation ended, I booked 3 nights, didn't even ask for refund because they don't speak english, not even basic. Is a party hostel so don't think you'll get any sleep, there are a crazy amount of mosquitoes, the aircon doesn't work and the fans in the room sound loudly, pairing with the electronic music outside which bounces all over the place. Marihuana is smoked in here. Maybe is clean but doesn't look like, the mattress is not actually a mattress, 10cm thick if. The sheet is not a sheet just a matres cover which doesn't look like they wash after every use and it smells like they put some fragrance on instead of actual washing. I don't know if bed bugs or jus the mosquitoes but itches everywhere. There are other places better and cheaper than this. Ah! The beach... full of plastic and big blue pots everywhere in the walking path, looks unsanitary, I wouldn't go to have a swim even if they pay me, awfully dirty.
