Firstly, I review on value, not luxury. ||The hotel is a few hundred yards up an alleyway. I enjoyed the short walk, especially during evening (optional buggy available). Check-in speedy and friendly. I was in room 2, nice and clean with 2 large beds (one softer, other hard). Nice AC. The pool area is beautiful, very tranquil, nice flowers and birds singing. Nice clean, available loungers.||Ms Thuy (twee), my host was amazing, fun and so friendly. A more private run operation. Nice, made to order breakfast eg, eggs, bread, fruit, iced coffee, etc. Lunch also available. A very informal retreat, a laid-back 3 night trip from Ho Chi Minh. 3.5hrs in excellent VIP bus. I much preferred it here, the traditional areas more for me. The 3 night stay cost me around $75 and £30 return from Hi Chi Minh on bus. Coming back here in April 2026.||A few minutes walk and you arrive back on main road with several excellent priced restaurants, massage etc. I recommend the Pandora restaurant very close to hotel and the beachfront one across the road. The great massage place I used is called Sao Nai Spa, cost around £9!!! ||I loved having a meal by the sea. Restaurants cheaper cost here, plus beers 50p to £1! Locals all very friendly, typical Vietnamese. Beach a 5 minute walk. The actual strip at this central Mui Ne location is very long, so great if you enjoy walking, exploring, etc. I'll spend more time doing this and visiting beach next year.||Lots to see and do or just...
Read moreMs. Thuy really made me feel at home. She's very caring, provided me with an adapter, booked me a bus to Nha Trang, gave good suggestions for food nearby and made me a nice breakfast. The villa is modest, it's good value for the price you pay. The pool area and garden are absolutely beautiful & well maintained, there were so many types of flowers, I spent both my mornings relaxing here. I would come back not for Mui Ne necessarily, but for the peace at this accommodation and Ms. Thuy's hospitality!
Definitely bring mosquito repellant as you're bound to have some in the room given the nature you're surrounded by. Wiggle your keys at the local dogs if you're coming back late and they're barking at you, worked well for me, they understood I am a guest I suppose! Also it's a short walk from the main street, so make sure to carry a backpack or suitcase with...
Read moreWe had an opportunity to travel to Mui Ne and were looking for a quiet place with a swimming pool. Muine Sunlight Villa offers both. The swimming pool is huge, clean. The room is lovely, quiet; and great for the price we paid. Beautiful garden though! Owners and staff took great care of their trees, flowers; the fruits and coconut are tasty! The garden view is absolutely top notch FYI! Wish we had a better option for laundry but it was definitely not a big deal.
The owner of this villa, Mrs. Thuy, is one of the kindest, nicest people we met during our trip to the South of Vietnam. She went the extra mile to help us get what we wanted; truly appreciated her tremendous support. Great place for travelers!
Will come back again for our...
