Protea Hotel Lusaka — Hotel in Lusaka Province

Consider the convenience of having back to back shopping malls Arcades and East Park, stocked with everything one can imagine or need. I particularly like this hotel because the four airlines i almost always travel with (Emirates, Qatar, Ethiopian, Kenyan) are all located within walking distance of this hotel which is useful in planning my next moves, picking up a ticket or variations on my schedule. Also banks are a dime a dozen in this area. Security in the area is very good even in the evening you can take a comfortable walk without fear of being mugged.

There is though one thing i wish to see in all Proteas Hotel Lusaka - I wish to see the hotel open its on Money Transfer Agencies such as Western Union or World Remit and Foreign Exchange Bureaus...

Great location and convenient access from airport, city center and main roads. Service is world class. Rooms are a little dated and air-conditioners were quite noisy however they are busy replacing these, with the 4th floor changes completed already. They are busy working their way down but if you are travelling in the hot months (which in Zambia is most of them) then I would specifically ask for a room with an upgraded air-conditioner.

Buffet breakfast was on par with most decent hotels and they offer the standard mix of cereals, fruits and hot breakfast options. Dinner menu was also reasonable in terms of cost and quality. There are better restaurants within easy walking distance if you feel like something a bit fancier (e.g. try the Eastpark Mall across the road for some...

I have been trying to contact the towers and have requested a quote on an event and yet still as at today nobody returns my request can I have a email address or a tel number that works for the towers

I need to take this opportunity to revert to my previous post I felt it important not to just delete the above but rather elaborate on subsequent events. Indeed the hotel lines were down however I was contacted by a lovely lady Ruth i who came to my rescue and handled my problem with all the finesse I have always enjoyed from the Protea Group
