Finally finally went to Mabula by Afrigonia! I used to see the reviews and hear good stories about Afrigonia which was in Woodlands area but then they closed and moved to Acacia (Arcades). The environment? Very pretty, very cute. I love it! It was so calm and the setting was pretty. The service? I like waiters/waitresses that are interactive lol so even though our waiter wasn’t as chatty, he was very nice. The service was good. The food? So yummy. My plate was so juicy. I had ordered the mint reduced lamb chops- yummy (K280)! My dates food was good too, though the T-bone (K300) wasn’t well done as we requested! I also heard some bad stuff about the place when it had reopened at Acacia but my experience was quite good. I’d definitely go there again. The only downside is the limited options on the menu (it’s literally one page) and maybe the portions are literally just enough for one human being! Otherwise, I enjoyed myself!

Mabula is an absolutely beautiful restaurant. The walls are covered with plates painted to form an art piece – seriously, it looks stunning. I had the creamy chicken pasta with cheese and mushrooms, and wow – I’ve been to quite a few restaurants, but this was hands down the best creamy chicken pasta I’ve ever had. So tasty and plated perfectly. My friend had the lamb, and she said any lamb lover would die for it. The service is on point. You’ll never have to look around wondering, "Where’s the waiter when I need something?" because they check on you just enough times. Oh, and the blueberry daiquiri cocktail is amazing – tastes like they use real fruit. Now, the food is definitely on the pricier side, and it felt a bit overpriced for me. But the ambiance? Amazing. Both the indoor and outdoor seating are beautiful and quiet. It’s got a fine dining vibe with artistically decorated walls and clean, minimal decor.

So delicious! The flavors and sauces were so good. I had the salmon and husband had the lamb chop, but we shared both. We also had the crayfish for a starter, and the flavor was great, but I am admittedly not accustomed to eating them split, so it was a bit awkward for me. Also, there was some salsa and bread served, and the salsa was SO GOOD. We come from southwest US, and had been missing good fresh salsa. Hope we can purchase some to take home! The restaurant has beautiful atmosphere and design. Service was excellent. Prices reflect an upscale restaurant, and menu is a bit limited, but better to do a few things well! Menu is printed on paper and stapled, but I'm sure this will be more permanent/formal once they are open longer. Suggestions to improve would be expand menu with a few lighter options and maybe salad, a great cocktail menu, and desserts. Looking forward to future dinners here!

Thanks to Kenny, my waiter for the amazing service I received when I dined here. He was definitely aware of the menu and tried his best to be available to me without me constantly asking for him. He was efficient and well mannered. Grateful for the service, it's little things like this that make a restaurant worth going to.

My food was good, my starter(Maristo prawns, calamari and crayfish) was a little plain, I could only taste "tomato" as the main flavor, I know that was the main ingredient but I wish it had more to it besides that. The main course(creamy prawns) was creamy, no complaints there. My dessert was a little dry, I wish it was softer and more moist.

I'd love to emphasize how happy I am that they moved to a bigger space and how better the decor and environment is at this new outlet. It has more spaces for bigger crowds and seems suitable for family outings too.

I love Afrigonia, it is probably one of the best restaurants we have in Zambia. This outlet seems to be having the same menu and vibe of the original restaurant, they could improve on the quality of the food as it does not match the main restaurants taste and flavor. That could be the main improvement they work on, everything else...

Unfortunately, I agree, the seafood pasta missed the mark for me on my first visit.. rather bland... a little crusty. Seafood Could be cleaned out better, more flavour needs to be packed into this beautiful dish... Delicately handled.. not like a war took place on the kitchen.. on my second visit, I wanted my meat medium to well done... but was then informed that the lamb shank was pre-coked(well done and dry),d to preference. You would think such a lavish would try to cater to that need... nevertheless the meal was absolutely delicious. I know ill be back sooner rather service even my second time around...no alignment with table settings...

Christopher was absolutely fantastic 👏. Paid attention to my needs.. was very kind and understanding. Was patient with me Which I appreciate. The manager on the other hand was rather aggressive and cold... somewhat resentful that I wanted my meat cooked a certain way... Their carrot cake didn't have a single carrot in it and looked like...
