RocoMamas East Park Mall — Restaurant in Lusaka Province

Found a spot with good wifi reception. A Quiet enough intimate space upstairs. Food options were great but the service was not there. It was clear that it depended on who your sever was. There was a lady that served well but she wasn't my server but she was so gracious and kind to help out because my waiters service was non existent. I would tell him something and remind him and he would still make the error that I reminded him to avoid. Never got a drink or water that we ordered after maybe 5 times of asking him. He was either new or just completely disorganized. He didn't remember anything. He had a great personality but meant nothing because he seemed to be unable to do this job effectively. Sad thing is I'm a big tipper when the service is great and most Americans tip out of principle. That wasn't even enough to make him more attentive and aware. Just saying "okay" with no real understanding or follow through. If he is new, I can understand. He wasn't lazy either. He was moving quickly but had no order or direction (plan)of...

Very disappointed with the service today. I went in for the Friday promotion where the beef and chicken slaw burgers are K99.00. The order was taken quickly with the promise that the food would be ready in 20 minutes.

To pass the time, I walked about for 20 minutes and when I returned to pick my order, it was not ready. It took 55 minutes to wait for an order that should have been ready in 20 minutes. While I appreciate that the Friday promotion draws a lot of people, the quality of service should still match the busyness of the day. They should enlist more hands to make the orders or find a way of making sure that the orders still come out in the time they indicate.

When I got the food, it was cold and bland and dry. On any other day, this is a good place to eat from. Today unfortunately was a bad day. A few of us who gad waited longer threatened to cancel our orders and that’s how we were served.

Meh😔…Probably my least favorite burger experience ever. I was attracted by rocomamas' Instagram where Burgers looked so yummy. We didn't take too long and couldn't wait to try. However it was a disappointment. I wouldn't even talk about the beef or sauce or sides, but just the BUNS. Right after I took my first bite (I can assure you not a big one), the buns immediately disintegrated aka fell apart!! I'm no hamburger expert but I knew it's no good. I just didn't know if the buns were not fresh or the burger waited too long before serving.

The decoration was characteristic and ambience is great. Waiter was trying to help even though he didn't know much about the menu. We paid the bill and there was 50 kwacha change but the waiter thought it's his tip and didn't show up anymore. Meh…again. Maybe he was an intern then and I hope he is...
