Terrible experience. Dirty rooms, requested a clean 3 times before it was actually completed. Dirty stained sheets, dusty. The lick on the door didn’t work!!! Ac didn’t work, again requested a fix or solution. They did fix it but again after 2 requests Large cockroaches and bugs in room. Was a terrible nights sleep. When I spoke to the front desk. They very politely disregarded and said that I should have flagged it with them. When I recounted the times I had above. She didn’t have much to say. Had a third night booked here. Via booking.com Non refundable But I wouldn’t ever stay again. So booked the protea hotel down the road. Which was 100 times better.

I've stayed here a number of times. On checking in this time, my allocated room was still being cleaned, so I was given an upgrade, which is always appreciated. There are some irritating things in the room, such as USB ports by the bed not working, light switches only one side of the bed, safe in cupboard not operating, fuzzy TV screen, curtains almost impossible to pull easily. Staff are generally helpful. Room clean. Good internet Good coffee in the bar by reception

The place is okay, fairly clean. The restaurant is fairly clean, well air-conditioned. However, the waitress was so slow, and unsure about the dishes on the menu. When we finally ordered, the food took over 40 minutes to come which was upsetting since the meal we order was simple and we were starving.

Stayed in hotel for approx 15 days. ||Very happy with the standard of service from all staff and management. ||Very friendly, welcoming, attentive staff. Hotel is clean, secure parking and staffed 24/7.||Excellent food, plus on-site pizza restaurant and pool bar. ||Value for money is excellent, would advise booking directly with the hotel and avoid all the online booking platforms. Better deals to be had booking directly. ||Distance from airport is only 20 minutes and hotel operates a shuttle bus if needed. ||Shopping and businesses close by and within walking distance if needed. Taxi service is cheap and fairly quick to respond if needed.||When we decide to return will definitely make arrangements with this hotel again. We found it better value to stay here than rent a self catering apartment as the hotel is safer, on main route, staffed, available 24/7, cleaning and laundry service is available. Plus food and beverages were great value.||Owner of hotel and management always visible on site which demonstrated reassuring commitment to guests.||Really enjoyed the...

Worst experience theres been ever. My husband and I are a regular at this hotel the grand palace hotel,I left the room I was residing in and went to the car leaving my husband in because of a despute we had today, instead of driving out I decided to park at unauthorised space, a guard came and started to shout at me, quietly, I stepped out and tried to talk to him away from the car coz my children wher in there. He insulted at me and later called his skward including a waiter called Mr sikazwe who went physical on me. I tried talking to them saying I was only perked for 20 mins en leave to drop the children but did not listen and kept insulting me. A waiter Amos have been very friendly and we don't enten to go back coz they feel they are above the law.Im never recommending this Hotel for traumatizing my children. My son said we should sue sikazwe but I see no point. I'm disappointed and never going...

I stayed here for 10 nights this month while attending and running meetings in their conference venues. Comfortable rooms with aircon, enough power points, a king size bed, a private balcony, and a bar fridge (all the essentials :-). It's also a plus that the hotel is a five minute walk from a fairly large and well-appointed mall so drawing cash or finding take-out food was easy. ||||Highlights were the hotel restaurant (slow service but worth the wait) and the staff (universally friendly, helpful and competent). Lowlights: the pool remains closed due to major construction on-site - though this brought no other inconveniences. A gym is advertised on the website but does not exist - or I coudn't find it. Wifi was variable: fast enough for streaming about half the time, and only failed to work at all one evening (pretty good in my experience of budget...
