Grange Fruit Market — Local services in Adelaide

It's my local store. I used to shop here every week for regular indian grocery items (approx $100 weekly) ...Unfortunately I will never be going again ! I know how hard it is to run the business these day so I normally don't like to review negative about any business... but this one I have to because of their rude staff & couple of bad quality food items. The very first time, I went back to return one item beacause I found tiny little food bug or brittle walking inside the packed savoury food item...first thing I said to the staff, if I can just simply swap the item but they rudely refuse to do swap as well as refund...which is OK. I just went to inform them so they can check other packages before they sell... it was my kind act of telling them so they can check before sell. they didn't not even apologise about it. I called to talk to the owner, before writing a review but they said they don't know when owner is coming... bad...

I have been a very long-time customer, and this used to be my favourite shop. But not anymore. Yesterday, I went grocery shopping, and the girl who was serving there looked at us very angrily—maybe because we were late. But we’ve always come at the same time. This time, I was shocked by her behaviour. The way she was talking to customers was completely wrong — she was speaking in a very rude manner. She didn’t know that I understand her language. I feel like she doesn’t have any experience in how to speak to or deal with customers. If this is the kind of attitude your staff has while serving, then soon you won’t see any customers at this shop. However, there was another girl there who handled everything very well and spoke to customers politely. Maybe the rude girl should learn something from her, because all grocery stores run because of their customers. So, please pay attention to...

This place is heaven. Cheap fresh groceries, a range of smallgoods that includes Indian, Italian and Mexican. Great atmosphere (Indian hip hop!) and lovely staff. If you want sun ripened summer stone fruit, you need this place. It's also open until 7pm every night (or almost every night!) so I can get fresh fruit and veg for the next day.
