When the Tapeworm Goes Italian — Con Pollo Ravioli Adventure 🇮🇹

Cucina by Liquid, you beautiful saucy legend. I came in expecting a solid lunch — walked out spiritually fed, emotionally repaired, and maybe a little in love with the ravioli. I asked for the Con Pollo, swapped out the penne for ravioli, and honestly… I think I broke the simulation. That sauce? Creamy, tomato-rich, silky, with enough flavour to make a grown man whisper “grazie Nonna” into the void.

The basil was fresh, the cheese shaved like it came straight off a Roman holiday, and every bite was like being hugged by the entire Italian peninsula. You can tell there’s real heart in that kitchen — not the “franchise heat-lamp” type, but proper Mediterranean passion with a South Aussie twist.

Halfway through, the tapeworm took over. I stopped talking, eyes glazed, just primal focus — fork → ravioli → mouth → bliss. If you know, you know.

Would I go back? Let’s just say the car’s already facing that direction. 🔥🍝🇮🇹

Went there for lunch on 10th May with two friends -My pasta was very nice but other two people said they wouldn't go there again as there's was very bland. And to make it worse the waiter (had only been there a week or two as he told us) just didn't want to be there. We asked for a bottle of Sauv. Blanc. First off he said did we want it just on the table (What the!) & we said in an ice bucket please. He wasn't too happy about that and put 1" of ice in the bottom. Then we had to ask for a glass of ice so we could top up the bucket. Then I asked him how much an entree of a meal would be for takeaway. He told me $7 so I thought I'd order it. After I got home I realised I was charged $15 for this when the main course of this was $17. If I knew that I would have ordered the larger size. So in review NO would not go...

Oh my goodness gracious me!!! What a wonderful experience we just had at a 70th birthday dinner that we celebrated here at this amazing restaurant. The friendly staff could not do enough for us, and no task was too big. I have a son with Autism who has individual dietary requirements, and the amazing staff were so happy to accommodate his preferences. (The dinner at the 70th birthday was a set menu). The food was incredibly delicious, fresh, and also tasty. If you want the best dining experience, you have got to come here. A special shout out to Bidya Pant for her amazing service and thanks to the manager Chin, for making it a fabulous night. We will definitely be back, and I urge all of you who read this review, to try this place, you will be so glad you did, and you will understand why we have rated...

Always a pleasant experience. The service is fantastic every single time! The food is beautifully prepared, the flavours are spot on and the pasta is made to perfection in house. The prices are not to be seen anywhere else - $15 for a VERY generous serve of pasta is unheard of these days. There's plenty of seating, a kids menu, a good wine selection, and a dessert fridge on display with a wide variety of delicious looking Italian desserts. The restaurant is always filled with Italian people too, which I take to be a good sign of the quality and authenticity of the food. Would recommend 10/10 👌

What a hidden gem! Fantastic food sensational service and a lovely atmosphere. From the moment we arrived we were waited on by friendly happy staff. The food came out quickly and was sensational. We had garlic bread and grilled Halloumi for starters both entrees had generous servings and beautiful flavours. Mains were gnocchi ragu and Fritto Misto again food was cooked to perfection and delicious. My bestie is Italian and said the gnocchi melted in her mouth and was the best she’s ever tasted. We will certainly be returning to try more of the menu. Highly recommend Cucina by Liquid.
