Banh Mi Thit Mitchelton — Local services in Brisbane City

Will always remember the first time I had a Bahn Mi. It was my first day at my new job and one of my coworkers drove down the road and shouted me a Bahn Mi from Bahn Mi Thit. After taking my first bite I instantly knew this was my new favourite food. Nothing beats a Bahn Mi from Bahn Mi Thit. They by far have made the best Bahn Mi's I've ever tried. I have gone to other places and it just doesn't hit as much as it does here. The staff is always really kind and it brings off a good atmosphere aswell. Even with so many customers, they make the food pretty quickly that it usually comes within 2 minutes which is crazy. 100% recommend these guys, can't explain how good the Bahn Mi's taste, literally recommend it to everyone and they all come back saying...

This place has problem with their consistency, It was bad, then became better for the last few weeks. Now they just decided to dropped the standard again. The rice paper roll was 90% rice noodles . I ordered a crispy pork Banh mi yesterday, it was cold inside and no crispy at all . It seems like they used the leftover and put in the freezer and use for the next day. Very disappointed in what I got and paid for $10 for crispy pork and $9 for others more expensive than any Vietnamese take away in Brisbane. Should call themselves Fake Vietnamese cheap take away. Came across BMT today while trying to use up some spare time in the area. Ordered 3 banh mi’s (2 x crispy pork & 1 x lemon grass beef), which were quickly made up for us. Was super impressed by the sheer amount of filling inside, esp the meat portions. The amount would probably be the equivalent of most other bm places ‘extra meat’ option.
