Best Japanese in the area. Went last night around 7:30pm for some takeaway after finishing work and I’ve never seen the place so busy. I quickly understood that the waiting times were going to be really long and saw the backlog of previous orders so I decided to go elsewhere. I was just really impressed with how hard the staff were working, especially the young girl working front of house. She kept her composure while packing and running heaps of orders, answering the constant ringing phone and serving the till. While I was there, she unfortunately had to deal with rude remarks of customers and irritated delivery drivers but handled it extremely well, which can be extremely daunting especially for a young worker. I hope she is congratulated for her dedication and...

Good Japanese in this tiny restaurant. The sushi was very good. The Bento boxes were quite good... However the katsu chicken was a little over fried. The mini sushi and gyiza in the Bento boxes were very small... My daughter and son said they were so small and cute, but certainly not enough for adults. Biggest disappointment was the supposedly ramen noodles .. which were essentially Mee goreng / Maggi style packet noodles trying to be passed off as ramen noodles. So don't expect fresh ramen noodles, these are most definitely dried noodles, which is a bit expensive given they are charging over $16-18 for a bowl of ramen noodlesoup. I'll be back for the sushi but will stay clear of the...

Restaurant quality at take away prices: I didn't expect such a good meal when I dropped in for a quick katsu curry (my more-often-than-I-should comfort food). It was, hands down, the best chicken katsu-curry I've had in a long while, and for only ~$16.

You could argue the portion size looks small in my photo, but you could taste every bit of it; it wasn't just buried in curry to disguise tough crumbed chicken: from the vegetable chunks, to the wonderfully crispy and tender katsu-chicken, to the rice and sesame seeds.

I went back in to compliment the staff. If I can find the opportunity to be in the area again, and find some parking, I'll...

I’ve got spicy karage ramen for takeaway. It tasted completely like Shin ramyun that you can buy from a grocery store with some chicken karage pieces on it. Nothing like what I was expecting from a Japanese restaurant with nice reviews. I haven’t tried anything else but I’ve seen people eating rice bowls and curry which looked nice though. I’d say if you are looking for ramen, look somewhere else or buy a shin ramyun from a store. For me it’s not worth 16$.
