Fish Depot — Local services in Brisbane City

So I thought i would get fish and chips for dinner and try somewhere new. I called and placed order. I asked girl on phone if fish was Australian and she said yes. I go to collect the order and notice the cod is definitely NOT Australian so I ask the girl behind desk if she could change it to another fish which was Australian. After much moaning and stuffing around they finally changed it. When the new lot of fish had been cooked a different lady called my number and gave me the fish. I asked for the rest of my BIG order and the girl who passed me the fish held up the recipe shook it and said um you ordered nothing else. After explaining I actually had a large order of chips, potato scallops etc she got the first girl who served me and she with attitude gave me the rest of the order. The fish was lovely and chips pretty good the scallops on the other hand were absolutely terrible. Dry and extremely oily. You could only taste 6 week old oil. I will never be going back as customer service was discussing and honestly food was not...

Did a Menulog order at 5:10pm to pickup at 6pm. Two seafood baskets and a Greek salad, nothing special.

Get there just before 6pn, was told my order was nearly ready.

6:10pm rolls around, still no order, was told my order was being redone, no reason why.

6:20pm rolls around, still no order, I ask and it hasn't even been started yet. They say they'll push it through.

6:25 rolls around and Menulog reports my meal was collected. I have no meal in my hand. I ask the staff and they say sometimes they accidentally press the order collected button..

6:28 rolls around, they call my name, turns out they had an order for someone with the same first name as me.

6:30 the rolls around and my order is ready. Except I had to remind them I also ordered a Greek Salad.

Fish was okay but nothing to write home about, not worth the wait

In short, one of the most frustrating pickup experiences I've ever had, especially after ordering...

Today I placed a phone order after driving past the fish depot and seeing a sign out the front advertising meal deals for a hamburger, chips and a can of drink for $10.90. This price was also confirmed when I placed my order over the phone. Upon picking up was told that he had taken this sign down and put the prices up. $13.90 without drink. As I drove out I noticed the sign was still up, went back in and told him the sign is still there and he said I know. Told him this is wrong and false advertising and he said I know. So just be aware people when placing orders. Not happy and the attitude of the worker definitely will ensure I will not be returning.

** Further to this above review 10 days later there false advertising for the specials is still on signage out the front of their store. Definetly avoid this shop. Not good...
