Good chemist with helpful staff, good priced pharmaceuticals and discounted make up & hair colour. Aldi has very good staff, there is Starting Point Massage with consistently good massage staff, a couple of good cafes: Clove & Honey, Stones Throw & Moreish. Disappointed that Masaya seafood fish & chips closed down, but that's what happens when you leave unprofessional, uninterested stuff to run your business when you know better, and just ignore the Suburban Cafe: the owners are rude and you only have to look at their Google reviews to know how unprofessional they are!! Five Burrows is very tasty if you want modern American style burgers and fries. And a,few more great places now like Burmese-Thai, Buonos,Dis, MK Bower, Buenisimo, LaLaLand an not to forget good ole Royal charcoal chicken standing strong! What the village desperately needs, is a good green grocer, a good butcher, and a good bakery, to compliment...

The reason I give the village 1 star 🌟 is because the lift ( and quite often !!) was/is " OUT OF SERVICE " !! This is UNACCEPTABLE and better maintenance HAS to be maintained on the lift !!! Because of that vexing but VERY significant issue I now AVOID the place and shop elsewhere !! ( This is in NO WAY a negative reflection of Aldi themselves as it is a " centre management issue " !!) I have disabilities and when you park in the allocated Aldi car park, if the lift isn't working then you have to use the very steepish winding 2-3 levels of bloody RAMP !!! 🙄🤦🤨😫😡 Unfortunately too, when you leave the Aldi store and you need to get to the carpark, but the lift is " OUT OF ORDER " and you have a full trolley the " journey " leaving is uphill and a real struggle and quite unmanageable !! Run-down centre needing maintenance. Management must never step foot in the bathrooms as they don't seem to have had any maintenance in over a year. Most toilet seats falling off or left next to the toilet. There is a hole the size of a 50 cent coin between two stalls in the mens room. Yes you can actually see into the neighbouring stall. Bathroom doors constantly slamming closed creating a distressingly loud bang (absolutely don't bring anyone with Autism or sensitive to loud noise). To fix the toilet seats is a quick trip to Bunnings and doesn't even require a plumber. What on earth are the management doing that they can't even handle this?
