A little cafe that's all about waffles. We got the maple chicken waffle and the red wine pear. While I wouldn't go so far as to call it the best waffle in Brisbane, the balance of flavours does pretty much make it a really great experience. The maple chicken was just the right amount of sweetness and savoury that complimented each other. The addition of bacon and egg makes it a very hearty breakfast waffle that satisfies any hungry man's tummy.

The red wine pear was a little leap of faith on my part. I usually do not like red wine but this was pretty good. It wasn't overpoweringly..m"winey", the taste of red wine was distinctly there but it complimented the pear a lot.

I also love the matcha latte - nicely creamy and rich.

Service was pretty fast too. It didn't take long for the food to come out at all!! All in all a fantastic experience. I'm definitely coming back to try their signature creme brulee waffles!

(Btw it's also pet friendly. You can sit outside with your puppers. I'd recommend booking a seat in advance though just to get...

It's okay. The coffee and smoothies are pretty on point. Nice cosy, quiet place. Friendly staff. However, for a place that is called the 'Waffle House' Café, the waffles were the least enjoyable part. They have the texture of frozen waffles pulled from a supermarket freezer. You know the rectangular slabs that look and taste like cardboard after you toast them, and just go soggy and mushy? Those. Picture shown. The rest of the food on the plate was fresh and delicious, it's just the waffles that were the let-down. Starting at $20, and given the name of the place, I'd expect the one thing they'd put most effort into are the Waffles. But alas... Also, the music was awfully moody and melodramatic for what appears to a funky café in a funky area on a sunny Brisbane morning. They need to play something more upbeat and uplifting. The atmosphere really suffered. Heartache music is just depressing for a Café and not really sure what vibe they were...

I went to the store today and ordered a spicy fried chicken waffle. The waffle had just the right flavor, and the fried chicken wasn’t dry at all—the seasoning was well done and had a taste that most people would enjoy. The cappuccino was rich and creamy, very delicious, especially with the beautifully crafted latte art. The staff put a lot of effort into preparing the food for customers. Although there were only two employees in the store, the quality of the food didn’t suffer at all, and the service was quick. They were also very friendly to the customers.

After chatting with the staff, I found out they are young people on a working holiday in Australia—one from Taiwan and the other from Japan. They came to this land to pursue their dreams, which was truly touching. This is a very photo-worthy and beautiful café that’s definitely worth visiting. Thank you to them for their...
