I opened it that night I bought it. The SMELL coming from the meat is HORRIBLE! I have over 5 years working in a kitchen that cooks and sells food to people to eat I know the difference between ok meat and off meat there is no doubt there was a TERRIBLE SMELL coming off the meat. I have it in the freezer from the 22nd Oct. I tried on the 22nd Oct to email the details to you from the email address provided and I also called several times but no one picked up. I can send you the original email I tried sending on the 22nd Oct.
22 Oct 2018 Beware the meat! I came here to buy groceries like I always do. This time I bought something that was not in the condition of what I thought it would be in. To my horror the mince meat I bought was off in the centre the outside had red dye through it but the middle was a dark brown. That its the wost bit no it was the horrible awful smell. Too late I had put it my mix that I was going to coat it in to make spicy Portuguese meatballs. That didn't happen and so disappointed that it was ruined. I had been warned about the dangers of buying meat here. I haven't had it happen to me until now. Overall fresh fruit and vegetables standards have dropped a little bit.

Read moreA family member bought 2 plastic basins from the shop a month ago without knowing that we already have one ourselves. Hence, we needed have it returned or exchanged. Unfortunately, as my partner and myself have been away, we haven’t been able to do anything. However, my partner did call 2 weeks before to enquire on their refund policy. We were told by “Thin” (with a Vietnamese accent to it) that there’s no refund for cash, but we can do an exchange/ store credit. We went down 2 weeks upon arrival to get some groceries. A Vietnamese staff that goes by the name of Fiona is apparently the supervisor at the store at that time. We of course went to the check out to make this enquire. Next thing, Fiona told us that this isn’t possible as it was bought a month ago. Should this be the case, I think all the other members should have said and done the same thing. We literally thought that as it’s a plastic basin that doesn’t have an expiry to it, it will be doable. Anyway, she took our number down and told us to wait for a phone call from Lucy who’s her manager. We were told to expect one tomorrow (Sunday) during business hours. It was so busy that she kicked us away and completely ignore us after. It’s been 4 days and we haven’t got a call or a message. If this is what they call customer service, they’ll really need to work a lot harder.. Their entire policy doesn’t make sense right from the get go.
