I recently had the pleasure of playing at this fantastic par 3 golf course, and I canât say enough good things about the experience. From start to finish, everything was top-notch â whether you're a beginner looking to improve your short game or a seasoned golfer seeking a relaxed, well-kept course, this place truly delivers.
Course Quality: đïžââïžâł The course itself is beautifully maintained, with lush greens, well-marked fairways, and thoughtful hole layouts. Each of the 9 (or 18, depending on layout) par 3 holes presents a unique challenge â perfect for honing your iron shots and your short game. The pace of play was smooth, and the course had a relaxed vibe without sacrificing quality. Itâs a great place to work on accuracy without the pressure of a full-length course.
The Host: đ€ One of the real highlights was the host. Friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about both the course and the people who visit. They made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived â answering questions, offering tips, and genuinely ensuring everyone had a great experience. You donât always find that level of hospitality at a golf course, and it really set the tone for the day.
The CafĂ©: âđ° After the round, we stopped by the on-site cafĂ© and were blown away. The food was fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. Whether you're grabbing a hearty breakfast before your tee time or relaxing with a post-round coffee and pastry, the cafĂ© is an absolute highlight. The staff were just as warm and welcoming as the host, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting â a perfect way to...
Read moreHave always enjoyed coming here for some wholesome food in a beautiful setting. Popped our heads in to see if they were serving this evening at 7:45pm..the waitress watched us walk up to the entrance, then turned her back to us as we stepped on the first step and started cleaning tables. I had to raise my voice 3 times to ask her politely if they were still serving. She wasn't 3 meters away! To which she responded "no we're closed". I've no issues with places closing early etc but you are in hospitality, must we be so rude. I've been in hospitality for 25 years and I know how hard it can be, but it also can be fun, enjoyable and rewarding. Being polite and approachable is part of the service industry is it not? Surely we...
Read morePlayed a social round at Lake Claremont Golf Course with a group of four, and unfortunately, the experience wasnât great. A staff member came out during our game and told us to hurry up, even though we were playing at a reasonable pace. The way it was handled felt quite rude and unnecessary, which took away from the experience.
I understand the need to keep play moving, but thereâs a better way to communicate it without making players feel unwelcome. The course itself is nice, but the service and attitude from staff were disappointing. Would have been a much better experience if the focus was on customer enjoyment rather than rushing...
