This is hands‑down my favorite Tasmanian farmers’ market, although it's smaller than Launceston and Hobart, the quality of the produce is exceptional, with a broad range of locally made products alongside fresh local meat, bread, mushrooms, eggs fruit, and vegetables. You’ll also find beautiful artisan goods — from soap, candles, honey, cheeses and coffee to sauces, spice mixes, organic skincare, cut flowers, nursery plants, whisky, kombucha, and even handmade paper.
The live music, kid's games, warming firepits and delicious food and drink options make the market more of a community event than just a place to shop for ingredients. There’s a welcoming atmosphere that invites you to slow down, connect, and enjoy. I especially love how family‑friendly it is — a place where kids, dogs, locals, and visitors all feel equally at home.
