Eden seems to have invested alot of money to make this little town attractive to cruise companies… the information centre on the dock is well manned, great friendly people with really nice local products for sale ( try the DISASTER BAY CHILLI products) STACKS of people at the terminal to welcome visitors. A vocal town cryer and nice waterfront… We did a 2 hr boat trip around twofold bay - great trip. We saw dolphins, seals and lots of birdlife. .. The cruise terminal can now fit very large ships. … Theres not a huge amount to do in town but the half day trip to Merimbula is worth it … the beaches are lovely and there’s generally markets in Eden . ...
