Came here twice in one week to get pizzas, the first time we were told that the pizza chef was sick so no pizza until later that day. We sat down to a pretty disappointing and pricey meal, the pizza is definitely the only good food they do. Tried to come back again on a Sunday, this time we were smart (but not smart enough) and called ahead to double check and was told yes of course we’re doing pizza, no need to book! Very overpriced, pizza was good but $30 for Margarita is completely overpriced, cocktail was very average too. Ordered tiramisu for dessert, we all tried it and all immediately felt it was long past it's freshness, mascarpone was yellow and it felt as it was at least 2 weeks old,lucky no one got sick as only had a small bite. Also ordered pannacotta and it also wasn't fresh. I usually avoid giving bad reviews but this was a very disappointing experience and their kitchen should be checked for serving very spoiled cheese base dessert. I attended a private function being held at Hotel Australasia where everyone ordered from Pikes Bistro for lunch. All the food was simply amazing, the most genuine Italian cuisine I've ever had, delicious pizzas and the most delectable mushroom pasta. The dining room and the whole hotel for that matter was a beautiful experience; what a great atmosphere. The staff were decent and the food was all brought out in a timely manner, they did great for such a large group.
