Bruno's Suits — Local services in Gold Coast City

Absolutely UN-BELIEVEABLE. I mean, looking at the other review I KNEW that if you needed a suit, those guys are the best in town (Gold Coast and Brisbane).

The first thing I noticed when walking in was the service. The gentleman (can’t quite remember his name) stood up and shook my hand with a warm smile. Then, he asked me “what can we do for you” in the uttermost confidence. Already at that point, I knew I came to the right place and these guys would fix me up into the greatest looking suit.

“Well,” I said “this is my first suit. Never owned one before. So I need measurements and some tailoring. I also read online that charcoal was the go-to colour for a first suit since it matches everywhere.”

“It sure is!” He said.

The second thing I’ve noticed was the attention to detail these guys have. They tried different things, different combinations and “experimented” with my suit until they’ve found something that not only they loved, but a suit that I loved as well and could wear confidently.

The third thing I’ve noticed is the quality of those suits. You’ll know exactly what I mean when you go there — believe me. Just wearing one of those bad boys makes you feel like you’re wrapped in a blanket of silk.

The fourth amazing thing I’ve noticed is how they aren’t trying to make a quick buck out of you and run. In fact, they’re quite willing to give you tips and tricks to help you save money on suits. Here’s what one of them said, after taking off the jacket I was trying on and giving me a new one to try on:

Gentleman: “How many suits do you see, now?”

Me: “Umm. Two.”

Gentleman: “Wrong. There are eight.”

Gentleman: “With the charcoal and navy, you can try on different combinations that will give you up to eight suits. For example, the trousers and the jacket. Or these trousers and these jackets...”

Not only that, but they gave me a free tie and threw on a pair of socks as well for free (probably because I was spending on a whole suit).

The fourth thing I’ve noticed is quickness. Unfortunately, I was almost the perfect fit to take the whole suit home without tailoring. But my trousers were a tad too long. So they’ll get it tailored and all done up for free, ready to pick up, TOMORROW! Wow! That’s crazy speed! Light speed, even!

I cannot thank the entire team at Bruno's enough. A few years ago they did the suits for my wedding after my best man did his through them and the service and experience was great! This time, another mate is having his wedding and organised suits elsewhere and long story short, we had major issues and found out they weren't going to be ready in time (this was about 4-5 days before the wedding).. So knowing how great the team are at Bruno's, I told the groom that we need to contact them to see if they can help. Well... help they did!!! We rushed in on Wednesday, went through some sizing and choices and locked everything in. After confirming with them on the Thursday, they sent everything away to get tailored and 1 day later (the day before the wedding) the suits were ready to pick up!! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! With only a few days to the wedding, we were worried that we were going to be stuck with nothing to wear but Peter, Nicholas and the entire team there pulled through and really helped us out. Even though it was a nerve racking time for us because it was so close to the wedding, they made the experience easy and fun. They are all so quick, knowledgeable, professional and just absolute legends! I would recommend Bruno's suits 1000 times over to anyone that is looking for a place to get a suit from for any occasion. YOU MUST CHECK OUT BRUNO AND HIS SUITS! Was so busy running around the Gold Coast trying to find this one particular and fairly unique suit. I was lost! I literally was giving up and on my way to get some coffee to make me feel better, when I just happened to walk into Bruno's store.

As soon as I walked in...... I knew that I had come to the right place. Bruno greeted me with a big warm and friendly smile, handshake, and told me to sit down. A tad confused by this, I watched Bruno walk out to the bak of his store to which I then heard him yell out "What coffee do you want, Sam?"... Before I could even respond, he then said "What about a green tea, you don't sound the best" (I did have the flu at the time). He then proceeded to strike friendly conversation with me as he prepared my tea which was then accompanied by these absolutely delicious home made coconut looking macaroons, which I'm sure you will hear the story behind them.

After we spoke for about half an hour, Bruno then told me he had my suit, in my size, that he would beat the expected price, threw in discounted tie, pocket square and some free socks. He then sent me on my way.

The next day, I won 'Best Dressed' at an event at the Gold Coast Turf Club. Apart of my many prizes was a lovely bottle of wine which giving Bruno and his beautiful wife the next day was the least I could do for their amazing, warm and true genuine assistance and accommodation. I could not believe how lucky I was. I WILL NEVER SHOP...
