Generally I don't like leave negative reviews but this is different. Let's start with the positives: I am not any rock climbing expert but walls and equipment seems alright. And unfortunately that was it for us. We went there to my five years old have fun and try rock climbing for the first time. It was busy afternoon. After paying the fee, a guy which apparently was the manager gave us very short introduction. He was completely distracted and instead of focusing on us (the customer) and providing most needed safety instructions, was keep looking around in a way that he even forgot or maybe didn't care to tell us how to climb down! He put us on a basic level path. There was no separation for the age or even skills as just right next to my daughter an adult was going up and even using my daughter's path which was kind of intimidating for her. After changing a path to find an easier one (in terms of reach) , she was able to go up and when she wanted to come down, she had no clue (as no one had told us) and she spinned and hit the wall with the face and that was it for her. She didn't want to try any more. The whole thing took less than 10 min, so I went to the manager guy and described the situation and told my daughter is hurt and asked for the refund as we were not able to use the service (due to lack of proper instructions) but the guy was so arrogant and said the issue is your daughter that can not climb! When I told him that he was so distracted that had forgotten to tell us how to climb down, he said "I am the manager and have to watch every one else!" Yes that is true when your job is watching the customers not when you are with the customer and your only job is providing instructions for the first time users. Obviously he didn't have enough staff and had to work double to cover many different areas. Things didn't go well and he tried to make it personal and called me idiot angry little man. Of course I was angry as my daughter was hurt and her face was completely red from the impact but I was more cross for the fact that he didn't care about the safety and wasn't accepting he had messed up the induction to serve another customer. There should be cctv that has covered everything. It wasn't enjoyable afternoon for us. Not...
Read moreNever heard of this place before getting an invite to a Birthday party. My kids absolutely loved it and my daughter (8) made Numerous attempts to get to the top advancing a little further as she gained confidence. Eventually she made it almost to the top when she completely froze in fear, no amount of coaxing from the ground was going to get her to let go. A lovely staff member (I wish I got his name) curly hair tied back, glasses, clones up to her and was so encouraging and supportive, giving her guidance to let go and descend safely. Her confidence was so boosted by this that she had another go and made it all the way to the top after a few more practices. This staff member is to be commended for his calm kind and encouraging nature, he is a natural...
