While I've seen the other complaints, we've eaten here in person a couple of times and been pretty happy with the food with no issues there. It is expensive and there has been a pretty long wait, but we understand good food takes time, and that it's not a fast food joint. That being said, frequently the fries aren't ready with the meal.
The other night though we ordered online, so as to not have to wait. We showed up at the correct time, 5:55pm (I was a bit early) and did not receive the food for another 20 mins after that. When my order was finally ready, it was in just 1 bag, despite being a large order. I specifically questioned it being just 1 bag and was reassured that that was it.
On getting home, I find that I'm missing a meal, and 2 of the meals are missing their fries. So I drive all the way back and explain the situation. I was told that they realised it right away and that they had someone new working the counter. I totally understand new people getting things wrong, however then I'm told that they still have the meal sitting there and ask if I want it... 40 minutes after I left... And that I would get a refund. I said that I would like a fresh order and they sent the manager out who was very professional, polite, and apologetic. He said no problem he would get it taken care of and that a refund might take a day, but he'd call the boss to make it happen. Later the guy at the counter comes back to tell me that there was a miscommunication and that I can only get my food or the refund, but not both. I asked to speak to the manager again, who also says that there was a miscommunication and that his boss will only allow the refund or the food. I explained that I ordered for a specific time and the food wasn't ready, then I drove home and didn't even get the food I ordered (even after questioning it), and then had to drive back again, and would obviously have to drive home again. I asked who was paying for my petrol and time. He apologized, but again said that his boss would only allow a refund or give the food. I told him that I understood them being short handed and even messing up the order and that I thought he was doing a good job and that I wasn't upset at him at all, but that I suggest he pass the feedback to his boss that it wasn't a good way to treat customers to mess up an order, cause them to waste time and money, and then to tell them to expect to just pay the same as if it had all gone correctly.
A replacement AND refund would be the basic expectation for this. However I won't be back, so it doesn't really matter now, other than for other people. I hope the owner is able to take this feedback onboard, as well as my compliments to your...
Read moreA pretty good burger joint, not perfect, but an overall good value with a few minor gripes.
Well kept facility, a good number of seating arrangements, and the staff is very helpful and quick to response when asked a question.
There are multiple options for those who are fussy with their burgers, with different options for those on special diets, but also burger less and chicken options if that is what takes you fancy.
My issue I have with the chain and not this store in particular is the online ordering option. If you are eating down at the table, there is a QR code, allowing you to order from the table without lining up. My issue here is that there is a surcharge, though only minor which could be justified about the time you save from lining up, but I believe this is a minor detractor. Next is the payment options. You are making a purchasing using a mobile phone already so why isn't there an option to pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay. Patrons are required to put in their credit card details when making an online order.
The last confusion is with the online ordering platform (not through the QR code) is that if you were to order some burgers in store, a couple of burgers are found to be cheaper online. Not sure whether this is a technical glitch, but there is a good percentage difference for at least one burger when ordering it online and pick up than when ordering over the counter or via the QR code. Maybe it is a way to get customers to order online and take hope instead of eating in? Who knows.
Other than that, the burgers are really nice and the chips are well cooked as well....
Read moreHave been a long term supporter of 3230 since it opened up until this year used to go at least 6 times a year, I went to 3230 Thursday evening around 6:30pm, while I ordered my food, standing at the counter the attendant decided to walk away and stand out the back chatting till he then came back a few minutes later, while I stood there watching a girl out the back was fixing up her socks and pulling her boots back on, then proceeded to handle and cut the liner paper for your burgers and chips, without gloves or washing her filthy hands, she went between her phone and shoes and handing food packaging without a care In the world, to then we sat down at a dirty unwiped tables, and waited to then be served our meals in takeaway containers rather than eat In like we had ordered.
This place has gone downhill extremely, the burger was burnt, and nothing like it used to be, disappointing as I have suggested friends and family to attend this place regurely over the years.
Sharpen up your act, and how about painting your kitchen door that has paint food reminents and greasy marks all over, this door has been like this since about 12 months of the restaurant opening so maybe 6-7 years now, disgusting attention to detail.
Will not return. Happily will take my business 15km away and...
