Ok Oriental Mini Mart — Local services in Joondalup

Very disappointing experience at this Asian mart. The customer service was extremely poor, rude and unhelpful staff made it difficult to shop comfortably. The prices of their products were high compared to other Asian markets. The lady at the cashier was the most disgusting and terrible one. They charge customers a surcharge for using debit or credit cards. When I decided to pay with cash to avoid this fee, I took out my wallet and counted the coins. It took only 30 seconds, but the lady at the cashier was visibly impatient and started speaking in her own language, urging me to hurry up. Maybe she assumed that I didn’t understand her language, but sorry I well understood. As a customer, this was not only disrespectful but completely unacceptable. So disappointing to encounter such unprofessionalism. Never ever go back to this...

My favourite Asian shop. I usually shop at the Asian Grocers in Girrawhen but now I go to this wee Grocer and only shop at Girrawhen for big stock ups. Its.small but has all the typical Asian supplies mainly shelf and freezer.a few fresh produce but very very small amount. Excellent freezer section. I buy all tofu,sauce,noodles, sachet mixes and pastes here. As im not Asian the lady is VERY helpful in helping me find products I always go to her shes friendly and very helpful. Place is very messy (pork and fish side by side) and overwhelming. Fun part is finding parking and have to pay for parking during weekdays. You really have to look hard as the item can be in two different fridges in one end and the other end. One thing that I am very disappointed is the customer service.
