We signed up for a French Patisserie Dessert Making Class with Francois, as a fun family evening. This is more of a Masterclass, and thank goodness it was - it was amazing to watch a Michelin Star Chef at work! We "assisted" Francois in making brioche, puff pastry to be used in a Mille-Feuilles, choux pastry and sweet shortcrust for the chocolate tart. There were so many great tips and tricks to try at home. There were 7 in the class and there was such a good vibe and so many laughs, and of course tasting along the way. Thank you so much Francois and Nikita for an absolute brilliant evening. The whole process from making the initial booking to completion has been smooth sailing. Francois is one of the kindest, pleasant people to work with. All the guests raved about him and his wonderful food. Nikita who was there to serve the food and drinks, was just as wonderful. Francois made a 50th Birthday celebration even more memorable. His food standards and attention to detail were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and our kitchen was cleaner after the event than before. All 17 guests enjoyed the food so much! The Valrhona Souffle was perfect and a favourite amongst guests.
