Surf Beach Holiday Park — Local services in Kiama

On the positive side it is a very neat and pleasant park, it has been renovated and looks wonderful, great pool, good location to the town centre and beach, lovely friendly staff. On the negative side, we were in a cabin with duplex which cost us $1500 for 3 nights, right in front of the cabin are caravans right up to our balcony. You would literally be on the balcony with people sleeping 10 feet from you so there was no privacy and you have to be super quiet. The cabin was new but in the bedrooms near the ceiling are windows which aren't covered so you are woken up first thing in the morning with the light and the only way to describe it when the sun hits is "clinically white and bright". The main bedroom only had a fan so is was really hot to sleep in. The kids room has 4 bunks very close together with little to no storage for bags so all bags had to go into the main bedroom. I was in the duplex part and other than it being very bright in the morning it was good. An awesome place to stay, especially if you're in a group. We stayed here with a large group and had several cabins. The location is perfect, the views are amazing and it's nice and quiet. There's a Woolworths and chemist less than 5 minutes away. Walking distance to the Kiama seaside markets and not far from the Kiama blowhole. The cabin we booked was pet friendly and new! It wasn't like any other pet friendly cabin, it was new and had no bad odour. We arrived late and we weren't able to check in straight away as the room wasn't ready. The only con for me would be that the room was not super clean when we arrived but it was nothing that some disinfectant wipes couldn't fix. The staff were nice and offered to let us stay an extra night for a very good price (if we didn't have work the next day, we would have stayed!). Will definitely...

Beautiful Park in a beautiful location on a Point close to everything with ocean frontage and in a beautiful Town. We are staying in a cabin which is quite good. fresh, light filled and clean just needs a little bit of maintenance. The bathroom sliding foor does not slide properly nor is there a privacy lock on the bathroom/toilet door. The towel rail is falling off. The lounge has lots of stains on it which require a good service clean or replacing but it does not feel dirty. The shower rose head is worn out and won't stay in the "up" position for an adult to shower without having to be held up. The beds are great. The kitchen is good. The bathroom is lovely just needs the vertical tile joint to be silicone sealed. A/C and ceiling fans, bbq, verandah and so on are all really good. We will come again. Happy...
