Coles Tarneit Central — Local services in Melbourne

I gave the store a 1 because i noticed they had lamb expiring today when l asked if it would be reduced l was told yes tonight.... so rather than providing me with some customer service amd reducing it on the spot so l could go home and cook with it (it was around 11am).it was much easier to fob me off... so l went to safeway on hogans road spent my $80 there where customer service isnt an issue

There is a saying dont put off what you can do today... lf you dont get another customer late today buying it its thrown out... l think staff should be able to multi task rather than just focusing on the task at hand which seemed to be checking labels... some customer service would have given this review a much higher rating but since markdowns only happen at night you get a one i would reccomend coles on tarneit road hoppers or safeway at hogans corner for good customer service... it is no issues when you ask staff at...

If there was an option of zero stars it would still be too many.

Places a click and collect order. Got the message to say that it was ready to be collected. Let them know I was on my way 20mins.

Waited, waited, called their mobile number 4 times, went inside spoke to the customer service desk. Told me they found it and went back to the car and waited some more.

Finally a girl came out but with a customer who came well after I had arrived. She asked me my name and said she will go pick it now. And it's because no-one was monitoring the click and collect phone. I told her to cancely order.

1.5hrs I waited, from the point I arrived till the point I left. I could have shopped in this time.

A few months ago I had to wait 45mins.

If you do not have the capability, then why offer it....

This Coles is (essentially) brand new. It has in store bakery, deli, butcher/seafood and a good range of the open air bain-maries for the fresh, ready to cook meals etc. Most attractive about this store is that it's roomy. The aisles are wide enough for a trolly & wheelchair/walking aid to walk through without one of them having to back up & out. That courtesy extends to their bakery/deli/butchery/fresh produce as well. If you live in the relative area & have a family member or friend with a mobility who needs to go to Coles, I recommend this store. Even if it's a 5-10min drive away from you, the difference in-store can help make shopping something they want to do again. Oh yeah, the staff here were great as well.
