Subway — Restaurant in Melbourne

I’ve been a regular customer at this Subway and usually love coming here since it’s close to home. I always order the Chicken Classic Footlong with my specific salads and sauces, and normally the quality and service are great.

Unfortunately, my last visit was disappointing. The staff member serving us (Aashi) added a very small amount of salad, and the sub had no taste or freshness—it was honestly the worst one I’ve had. On other occasions, a staff member named Gurpreet (not sure of the exact name) has made our subs, and they were fantastic—well balanced, fresh, and enjoyable.

I’m not sure if this is due to instructions from management to cut down on salad, or just a training issue, but it really affects the quality and value for money. As paying customers, we expect consistency and a proper amount of salad in our subs, otherwise it feels like a waste.

This location has so much potential and we genuinely enjoy coming here, but please provide proper training or guidance so every staff member serves with the same quality. Consistency is key—otherwise loyal customers like us will think twice...

I would like to share feedback about my recent visit to your Subway store.

My husband and I ordered two separate subs. The staff member began making my sub first and added my vegetables. When it came to sauces, I told her my three choices. She started with the first sauce, but the bottle ran out. She replaced it but, instead of asking me about the remaining two sauces, she started asking my husband about his sauces and then added one of his sauces to my sub. I said “it’s okay,” but then she asked my husband again about his sauces and almost put the same one in my sub a second time.

After that, she told me that “it’s better to complete one sub before starting the other,” even though she was the one who switched between them in the first place. This made the process very messy, and salt and pepper were also added twice to my sub, which affected the taste.

I regularly visit Subway and usually the process is smooth, but this time my order was handled in a very unorganised way. I hope this feedback helps improve consistency and service for...

We often stop to treat ourselves and the service never disappoints.

I always order a large warp, grilled, chicken strips, cheddar cheese, avocado, spinach, and pickles. Lots of salt and pepper with a strip of blue cheese dressing….. once grilled, so extremely tasty.

My partner, typically orders the foot long white bread double steak sub. Cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, salt and pepper, no dressing, tasty for him. A bit much for me but he has always complimented the sandwich artist.

We also took advantage of the $6 for 6 cookies. Yum! White chocolate, raspberry and then lastly the chocolate chip.

These will be great to nibble on during the week.

The place has recently been renovate, so it does appear that work is still needed to be completed.

The location shared with the petrol station, car wash and McDonald’s, is the best location. But plenty of parking and good offer of seating. There is also bathrooms for customers.
