I've been here a few times, but today was the last time...My partner ordered a mixed berry smoothie which we later found out contained Yogurt, Milk and Icecream.

My partner is Lactose intolerant, we checked the menu and there is no mention of it having dairy in it.

We told the waitress that she was Lactose intolerant, she apologised and told us which drinks didn't have dairy, so we ordered one of those.

The waitress asked if I wanted the one we ordered as it would be thrown out, I politely declined.

Apon paying for the meal and drinks, I noticed that I also paid for the smoothy that we returned...

The guy who served me at the counter said that they had to throw it out and they had offered it to me but I declined, so they are at a loss.

I said, but the menu didn't mention it contained dairy, and it is a mixed berry smoothy not a milkshake...

He said, well you should've told us your dietary requirements or allergies before ordering it.

I said, so you think it's fair for me to cover the cost of it? He said yes.

I said, well you won't be seeing me here again if that's how you treat your customers.

$70 worth of food and drinks and you couldn't take a loss on a $7 drink that probably cost you $2 to make. Just to lose me as a regular customer? If that's your idea of business then I want nothing to do with it. Neither should...

A lot of potential here. Came for the $15 steak night special but expect to spend an extra $5 for sauce. I'm all for charging for sauce but if it's a paid extra, please make sure your steak seasoned properly to actually be able to have it without sauce.

Otherwise a good portion steak with chips and salad... plus they managed to cook our steak as requested. (I'm a bit weary with places that don't specialise in steak and overcooking)

Service was polite, friendly and efficient.They do offer table service which is a bonus. Had a $5 happy hour special but they served me wine from an old bottle of shiraz. You could smell the vinegar (don't know how the waitress missed that and still served it!) We had to request a new bottle to be opened. The other waitress was apologetic.

All in all good value...

Went to the cafe today Normally they are good but last 2 times the food has been not the best We ordered chicken burger in which the chicken was cold, chips with no salt. The egg burji had almost no taste The bruschetta was good but gave boiled eggs instead of poached. When requested, the other eggs were so runny and not well presented.
