Let me first preface this review by saying that the actual concert was phenomenal. Keenan Te blew us away.
We arrived at around 2:30 for a 7:00 start concert. At this time there was 5 people waiting. There was no one there to direct us so a man who I believe is the chef made a phone call to someone and ended up telling us to wait in the side room.
My partner needed to use the bathroom and the only bathrooms were in the actual venue which we were using. I saw the men's toilet but could not see the women's so I went to look. There was a man kicking back on a lounge chair using his phone. He was a bigger man wearing all black and Nike kicks. He yelled at me from across the space and told me the venue was not open yet. I told him I was just looking for the women's bathroom as I only saw the men's. He told me that they were both back there and immediately told someone to lock all the doors and I was sent back out. I believe this man was possibly the owner. short hair, stubble and incredibly rude.
After this it got close to 7 so we formed a line outside to remember the order we came in. A man and a woman started scanning our barcodes and giving us wristbands. Eventually the man told us the doors were not going to be opened until 8:45 because they needed to do "a quick soundcheck". He said that if we wanted we could again wait in the side room. We remained in line until a blonde haired lady who might be security came and told us we needed to go into the side room, which we did.
Eventually a man ended up telling us that the doors would be opening in two minutes so we made our way back to the front of the door. The blonde haired lady returned and again told us all to go into the side room. We all looked at her baffled and she screamed at the top of her lungs saying "everyone into the side room NOW". We were just pretty shocked that this is the treatment we were receiving from staff at this establishment. we went up to her as a group and said that was not really okay because we have been waiting here since 2:30. Important to note that they did hand some people bottles of water, probably to soften the blow from the treatment everyone was receiving
After this complaint she eventually backed down and let us through first. The organizers at this venue did a terrible job. We even found out later that the owner of this establishment asked someone who arrived at 1:00 if they were the artist.
I probably would go again if Keenan Te performed here again but if you can, steer fully clear of QRoom...

Read moreI came on to write a great review . I have read latest review and I do not agree !
I attended the venue on the 1st of November for Keena Te. The venue itself was great — excellent staff and professional security.
Although the line was very long, security managed it extremely well. There was a two-hour delay before Keena came out, which understandably made patrons eager to enter the main room. However, it’s important to note that this delay wasn’t the venue’s or staff’s fault.
Many patrons crowded around the main door even though it was closed due to the delay. Security politely asked everyone twice to move into the side room where music was playing until the main room opened, but some people ignored these requests in hopes of getting in first. This behavior was unnecessary and a bit inconsiderate — no one was going to miss out. Security was more than polite !
Overall, the venue and staff handled a challenging situation very well.
