Great friendly service. Great selection of GLUTEN FREE ITEMS including crackers, huge gluten free pasta range. THE VEGAN RANGE IS HUGE AND INCREDIBLY WELL STOCKED. THE SELECTION OF VEGAN CHEESES IS AMAZING. Excellent chocolate block range. THE DEPTH OF CHOCOLATE RANGE IS DEEP for a supermarketof its size. This foodworks has many good quality eco friendly cleaning products and also eco friendly feminine hygiene products. The store is well stocked and there are some PREMIUM QUALITY READY MEALS and a good alcohol range. There is only a small amount of fresh fruits and veggies here. Opening hours are great too.

I just walked out of here after being accused of trying to "humiliate" the cashier for counting out and attempting to pay in gold coins. I am poor and have been struggling the last few months due to a chronic illness and I just wanted to pay for a few items to cook my dinner but was then aggressively accused of "humiliating the staff" when I was the one doing the counting for her and was not making her count at all. After seeing all the reviews it's clear to me that the owner does not know how to treat any of his customers and this was not just a once off.

I also got a lifetime ban from the store for this "humiliation" when I was the one in the situation of being poor and down to just paying in my last few coins...

Just lifted a spice of the spice rack here, as I did, another one fell down to replace it at the front. It came down so fast that it tipped itself over the edge, crashing to the ground, smashing everywhere. I alerted the staff, and when I went to pay for my things they told me I had to pay for the broken stock. The stock that broke itself due to the angle the spices were kept at... I paid and left, never to return. They seemed to think they were being generous giving me the thing for half price... Which meant that I had to pay less than $2. I don't care about the cost... But shouldn't I be given the benefit of the doubt, being the customer? Especially for what it would cost to them?...
