Was introduced to Lucy through a friend and can confidently say that she is one of the best beauticians in Melbourne. Whether you're looking for help with skincare or waxing, she is always so lovely and has such a professional yet welcoming demeanour. The Hive Beauty set up is always relaxing and inviting and is a definite hidden gem in South Melbourne. Even though I live rather far out from the Hive and there are others that are much closer, I'd have to say that the trip is entirely worth it.

If you're looking to support a small independent business, I would 100% recommend to check in with Lucy and her staff. The service provided is honestly not something you could find in a corporate run salon/spa and is always tailored to the individual.

Wow! Now, I’ve been in the industry a long time and I can tell you straight up that this girl knows her stuff! She’s not only professional and incredibly knowledgeable beyond most of not all the other therapists and business owners I’ve been to over the years, but the attention to detail! The quality of products, the service, the above and beyond! Each time I go to The Hive, I want to stay there. It’s so welcoming and the beautiful and funky fit out is outstanding. I can’t rave on enough about this magical place. It really has made my skin look and feel amazing and you know, if someone and somewhere can help you look and feel a million times better on the way out than you did on the way in then... lookout guys, you’re going to have to make a permanent room for me :) Thank you for always being so perfectly...

Feeling reborn and educated!

I visited The Hive a few weeks ago and am still thinking about what a positive experience I had here. I'm typically a bit sceptical when it comes to skin care as I have always thought less is more and (at least for myself) not really knowing what to put on the biggest organ of my body.

However, Lucy was able to give me the science and facts behind skin care and what fads are out there and what is truly going to assist with the health of our skin!

I got to indulge in the Healite ll treatment which felt absolutely amazing and had my skin assessed, she gave me a run down on what I'm seeing on the surface of my skins and what's happening underneath. DID YOU KNOW THAT CAPILLARIES ARE THE TINY BLOOD VESSELS THAT REACH THE SURFACE OF OUR SKIN? EITHER!
