Sorry not for me tonight, Before arriving read almost all reviews and was keen to come and eat. But I was disappointed.

Entree - Garlic prawns dish , Fantastic nice sauce it was a heart warming starter and tasted so nice.

Main - Chicken Cesar salad … I’m not sure if the chef ran out of dressing or didn’t dress the salad at all literally little to none dressing. The chicken was dry so dry I don’t even know how chicken became that dry no seasoning bland dry chicken it was as if it’s been boiled and on a grill press I’m confused as it was so dry that it crumbled on the fork.

Vegetarian pasta - Inedible when you think pasta sauce you should taste flavour basil herbs seasoning this had non very bland no flavour no seasoning I get the whole salt pepper on the table but season your food before it comes out it’s a chef must.

Ribeye - I came here for the ribeye as reading the reviews “cooked nice” one of the best but not tonight and not with me. It came out like someone taken the Ribeye out of the fridge and slapped it on the grill and that’s it. No seasoning no basing the stake not a hint of flavour. I had to season it my self on my plate using the salt pepper provided. ( I asked for medium came medium rare) I’m fine with medium rare as well but the whole steak temperature was off in areas) after seasoning my self it was OK bellow average at best.

Diane sauce I had to confirm with the waiter if it was correct he said yes. The sauce tasted nothing like Diane sauce it was just plain gravy.

I’m confused with the reviews and what was given to us tonight. Disappointed but loved the garlic prawns.

Overall 2 star , I don’t know if it was just a chef mistake it just was not good...

After a long day at the beach i fell asleep in the afternoon with my family only to wake up at 7:40pm to a rumbling stomach, so i woke the family up to go hunt for some local batemans bay takeaway food. The search took an unimaginable turn as we realized that EVERYWHERE was closed....AT 7:30! What a joke, how can anyone close at 7:30 on a friday night??? But then we stumbled across a glowing led open sign, looking up at the stingrays sign i thought we would be turned down once again. To my amazement there was 2 girls being incredible human beings welcoming us in, i asked if takeaway was an option and they said of course. Requesting 3 burgers was a problem though as the kitchen was closed so 1 of the girls went out back and asked the chef. The chef came out and told me hed fire up the grill and how we would like our burgers made and offered a table for us to sit at even though they were closing soon. After 10 minutes our burgers were made and i was impressed to see this big home made burger just like my dad used to make which was cooked to perfection served with steak fries for $15. Now i cant show you how good this burger was, you will have to take my word for it and go give it a try and if anyones worth you spending your hard earned money its these guys. I cant say how much i was impressed by the great service, good nature of the staff and quality of the food served to us. Incredible! Go give...

had great hopes for this restaurant after reading all the current reviews which sounded amazing. we were greeted by staff who were kind and warming.

unfortunately, that’s as far as it went. we ordered a doz kilpatrick oysters & chicken drummettes for entry.. oysters were okay but needed more sauce as for the wings they were charcoal on one side & sauce wasn’t desirable my partner ate them because he was hungry

i ordered a mojitio cocktail - i had one sip and refused to drink anymore unfortunately it was terrible.

for mains we ordered grilled fish of the day barramundi (tasted okay) american pork ribs for $40 was pretty sad the meat did not fall of the bone there was no taste and they lacked seasoning the chips that came with the ribs were terrible and plain no seasoning again my daughters garlic chilli squid was impossible to cut and was tough and did not taste good what so ever.

i did mention the squid was tough and it was the warmest feeling so i didn’t complain any further

i’m now left being $189 poorer and a sore and empty stomach.
